Rocky and Zuma rushed over to get Joshie out of the road, before any other cars came. They layed him on the sidewalk and tried waking him up, but nothing happened. This made the two pups start tearing up.
Rocky: come on buddy! Wake up!? J..Joshie
Zuma: *tears up* n..nothing is wowking
Rocky: no.....Joshie!!! *sobbing*
Zuma gave Rocky a hug to help him, but the pain was just too much for him to handle. Zuma then called up the rest of the PAW Patrol, to inform the unfortunate news about Joshie. Everyone rushed over as soon as possible, and they were shocked to see what has happened to the young boy.
Skye: What happened to him!?
Rocky: a..a car hit him.........a...a..and now he's........dead *sniff* Ohhh Joooooosssssshhhhieeeeeee!!!!!!!!
Ryder: hey Hey, Rocky.......
The young mixed breed hugged Ryder tightly while crying. Ryder then Decided it was time for the hospital, as they rushed on over to get Joshie in. They hoped that he was going to live, but sadly Dr. Diane came in to tell them that, Joshie was not going to make it.
Rocky: no! *tears flowing*
Ryder: I'm really sorry Rocky
Dr. Diane: you can say your final goodbye if you want to
With that, Rocky rushed into Joshie's room and saw him struggling to be awake. Rocky jumped up onto his bed and hugged him, while tears kept on falling down a lot from the Grey pups face.
Joshie: ro...Rocky?
Rocky: please Joshie?.........don't go *sniff*
Joshie: i...I don't if I can promise that
Rocky: please don't say that......y..your gonna live..........y..your gonna...........live *cried a little*
Joshie: shhh it's gonna be okay buddy, I promise that I'll always be in your heart......................I promise
Rocky: *hugged him tightly with tears* i..I'm gonna miss you dearly buddy, thanks for being a great friend for me and the PAW Patrol...............i..i......I just....
Joshie: I understand perfectly bud, but someone once told me that......things don't always last forever
Rocky: i..I said that to you................a..and your right.............I'm just gonna really miss you pal.............cause your my best friend
Joshie: I always will be your best friend Rocky, even in person or not..............g..goodbye............buddy............
And.......it happened, Joshie was dead. The machine Clarified it when it showed his heartbeat, stopped. This made Rocky break down crying in tears. He had just lost one of his best friends as Ryder and Dr. Diane helped him.
As a few days passed by, it was empty for the PAW Patrol. The lookout felt empty, Adventure Bay felt Grey, and The Pups felt extremely depressed. They missed Joshie badly, he always lifted their spirits by just, existing. Putting a smile on their faces as he smiled, making them all laugh during hard times, and just being an adorable and sweet ray of love and sunshine. Now with him gone, it felt extremely Grey and blue. Rocky and Zuma were extremely upset to know that their best friend was gone, forever. They never came out to play, eat, do missions, or even on road trips. It was that upsetting for them, and you can't blame them for it.
Zuma: what awe we gonna do dude?
Rocky: i..I don't know..........I just miss our pal so much.........
Zuma: *tears* m..m..me too
Rocky saw the chocolate lab in so much tears, so he walked up to him to give him a big hug. Suddenly, he noticed a can of soda roll out of the lookout as he turned Zuma's head towards it.
Zuma: what in the wowld??
Rocky: let's go check it out :
They carefully went over to check what was going on as it was shown that the kitchen fridge was opened, and someone was going through it. At first, the two pups thought it was Rubble. But it wasn't.
Rocky: Rubble!?
?: ahhhhhh!!!!! Oh, hi
Rocky and Zuma: JOSHIE!?!???!??!!!!?!
Joshie Ghost: yeah! Hi!
