Residing in a world not like any other, there was a humble, happy little town. The residents are not many, but all of them contribute to every little thing to keep it alive and well. From the many bright colors and cheerful decorations, it's obvious they're all very adamant about spreading joy all around.

Among the grassy meadows next to the town's many sidewalks, a young girl sits up, jolting awake as if waking up from a nightmare.

She rubbed her head, groaning, then opened her eyes to her surprise of the saturated town in front of her. She was going to think about the dream she had, something about her mother turning into a spider and chasing her, then seeing a deer lady offer her hand to shake, which was typical weird dream stuff she would say. But the foreign sight she is seeing may have distracted her from such thoughts.

Also, what was she wearing? She didn't remember getting into this outfit at all before she slept last night, neither did she remember even having this outfit. It's not a bad outfit, and she does feel comfortable with it, it's just... weird.

Said outfit was that of a frilly, bright azure dress with a white apron wrapped around it. She recognized it as your typical baking apron, with a design that looked like a cerulean outline of a six-pointed star. She also had a yellow ribbon tie to go with the dress, and she wore white gloves, white stockings, and dark brown shoes. They looked like Mary janes to her.

There wasn't much of a mirror around her, so she couldn't really see what was happening with her face. She did feel that her hair was tied in pigtails, still in the bleached blonde colour she had for years now, but half of it was now dyed in a light cyan, which was weird to her. She did feel that she had two clips around her bangs, one shaped like a diamond, the other like a triangle. She also felt something big and soft. She removed it and brought it to her face to examine it. A white chef's hat with a dark blue ribbon wrapped around it. Something about the hat caught her eye, and it's the fact it's embroidered with these rounded, azure coloured pins with such peculiar shapes, being a line and what she would assume was an oval with a hole in it.

She internally joked about on how it looked like a one and a zero together.

She donned the hat back on and got up. Everything here is unfamiliar and she's wearing weird clothes, but that's not gonna stop her from at least exploring.

As she was going to decide which direction shall she go to, she was approached by a young adult. Square shaped glasses obscured her eyes, but she saw she had lavender hair cascading down to her shoulders. She wore a mauve vest over a dark purple polo shirt, and her pants were a dull shade of plum. Her shoes were almost the same dark purple as her polo shirt, and she was carrying a small set of books. She noticed a pin on her vest that looked like a line with a slight curve on the end, looking as if it were a stylish way one would write their lowercase Ls.

"Oh, hello there!" the lavender lady greets her in this cheerful tone.

"...Hi?" the girl in the azure dress responds awkwardly.

"I would say you're new here?"

"...Yes actually. I was going to ask anyone where the heck I am-" The girl in azure was fidgeting with her fingers.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, newcomer!" the lavender lady interrupts. "The Rainbow Town hasn't had that much newcomers lately, so you're welcome to stay if you wish!" She ended that statement with a smile.

The... Rainbow Town? Is that was this is about?

The lady offers her hand to shake. "I am Libby, the local librarian!"

The girl in azure almost hesitates to shake it, but does so anyway. "I'm Dot."

"So," Dot breaks out of the handshake and starts gesturing to her surroundings. "Can you tell me about this whole... 'Rainbow Town' thing?"
