and then his eyes met hers, 

capturing her heart and making her weak in the knees.

"Ginni!"

"Ginni!"

"Aakash did you see Ginni?" Aditya finally asked the little boy who seemed to be engrossed in the gaming device in his hand. 

"Angel Didi must be in the kitchen. Don't you know that's her favorite place in the house these days?" His little brother remarked.

Aditya realized his folly. He should have checked the kitchen.

"By the way monster, looks like Angel Didi has become your favorite too." His brother remarked. Aditya forced a polite smile and turned around to go to the kitchen. But then stopped on second thoughts.

He looked back at Aakash. "She's not your sister. She's your sister-in-law. You should definitely update her title."

"Hmm, Parjai Ji? But it doesn't suit her. I think I will stick to Angle Didi." Saying that he walked away. Aditya made a face. Kids these days had so many tantrums.

"Ginni, I have been looking for you!" Aditya exclaimed entering the kitchen. 

"I am making dinner." That's all she said. She didn't even smile at him.

Aditya took a deep breath and walked over to the kitchen counter where she stood. "Okay, now what's the problem? Why are you ignoring me?"

"I am not ignoring you. Can you give me some space, I need to finish my work." She said walking away to the other side of the kitchen counter. 

Aditya observed her for a minute and then walked around the counter. "Clearly you've been ignoring me. It's been two days. Good morning Ji and Good night Ji is all I have heard from you other than I have something to do."

"Chichad Singh Ji, please don't start now. I am really busy." Saying that she picked up the marinated paneer and walked over to the other side of the kitchen counter.

Aditya fumed and left the kitchen. He was angry. She was avoiding him and he didn't even know why. But he would find out, all in good time. 

That night, Aditya got into bed before Ginni entered the room and pretended to be asleep. He knew Ginni would find other reasons to ignore him if she knew he was awake. Withing ten minutes he heard footsteps around the room, then the click of the bathroom door. He opened his eyes sneakily to look around. He was right. He stared at the ceiling wondering what could be the reason of Ginni's avoidance. 

He squeezed his eyes shut when he heard the door open. He heard soft footsteps again accompanied with the soft jingles of her bangles. Then he heard the switch click. Shortly after that the mattress dipped on the other side. 

The mouse had entered the trap.

He heard the soft clinking of her bangles and her deep breaths, probably she was laying down. Finally his patience dried out and without any warning he turned and hovered on top of her, balancing himself on his arms.

"Aditya Ji!"She gasped. 

He smiled. There were those rare moments when she said his name that made his heart jump up and spread out a nice feeling in his body. That moment was one such. 

"Why are .."

"What are you doing?" She whisper yelled, her eyes wide, nervousness dancing in them casuing her eyelashes to flutter a little bit.
