The mark

You open your eyes slowly adjusting to the direct sunlight . You smell the familiar smell of disinfectant and look at the white Ceiling . Hospital . I'm in hospital . " oh you're awake . Wait I'll go and call the doctor ". The nurse in the white uniform says and leaves . Your head is aching so much . You pinch the bridge of your nose with your thumb and index finger . You remember all the events that happened and the sudden rush of power you felt . Wait , am I forgetting something important? The door opens and the doctor enter with your teachers and your cousin .

" hi yn how're you feeling now? Better? " the doctor asks you with a smile . You look at your cousin who looks like she came running here . " I feel fine . just a little tired that's all ". You try to sit as the nurse helps you . " that's good . I need you to tell me all about your quirk okay?" You look at the doctor with worry . " am I okay doctor?" You ask him . " nothing to worry about yn " he smiles at you . " my quirk . I can manipulate fire and give it any shape in any size . Basically I can control it and do anything with it I want . My spine absorbs the heat present in the atmosphere and when I activate my quirk it glows . I still don't know why my eyes change its colour but today my hair also turned into a bright and glowing golden ."

He listens to your information carefully and notes it down . " anything different you did today or something unusual you felt? " the doctor asks you .
" I needed to absorb heat . one of my classmate has a fire quirk so I asked him to let me absorb his heat . I never tried absorbing someone else's heat but I felt a power very different than my usual power ". You look at Allmight and he smiles at you to make you feel assured. " yn you collapsed because your body is still not ready to store that immense power . Your quirk is way too powerful than we know and we still don't know how it functions exactly. You need to start working on your body . We got some tests done and it shows that you have weak bones . You need a strong diet and your teachers will help you with your quirk . And one more thing,  the mark you have on your lower back . Do you know something about it ".

The mention of your mark makes your heart rate spike . That mark is a reminder for you to never forget your past . " No I don't know anything about it . It has always been there ". You say firmly hinting that you don't want to talk about it . The doctor understands your hint and moves on . " you will have to spend the night here so we can observe you and you need to work on your physical health yn . Your quirk is very , very powerful and what we saw today was just the 10% . If we learn anything else we'll let you know . For now get some rest ." He smiles at you and leaves with principal nezu.

You Look at Allmight . " don't worry young yn everyone is safe. I have to thankyou for being such a great help .  I feel ashamed and proud at the same time that my students had to jump in ". You furrow your eyebrows. " no Allmight you don't have to feel ashamed and you don't need to thank me because as a hero it's our duty to save others right?". You smile at Allmight . " that's right young yn ". Ye pats your head . " how is mr. aizawa . He was hurt so badly". You ask Allmight . " he's a strong hero and he is fine now . No need to worry . Just focus on your health now young yn ". You nod . Allmight leaves the room and your cousin wipes her eyes . " yn" she says in a shaky voice . " I'm alright c/n . See it's just I'm way too powerful that even my body can't handle it ". You say trying to make her laugh but she doesn't .
" I thought something serious happened to you when they called me saying that UA students were attacked by villains and you were in hospital ". She says with a worried expression.

I made her worried again . " I'm sorry c/n . I always make you worry about me but trust me that I won't ever leave you . I can't promise about being hurt because heroes have to put everyone else before them but I won't leave you ". You say in a low voice and smile at her . She hugs you . You hear a sudden knock on the door and she lets you go . A nurse enters the room . " ms. Yn your classmates are here to see you . Should I let them in ". You look at your cousin and she nods . "I'll be going home to pick up some clothes and food". She leaves the room after smirking at you . Oh cmon . She can never change . You feel Relieved That she's finally back to her old self . " yes please let them in " . You say to the nurse .

You suddenly feel nervous to meet your friends .
" YN! Omg! Are you okay ? " mina comes running in and hugs you tightly." hey mina she's not well don't hold her so tightly ". Kirishima says . " oh sorry " she releases you . " I'm fine everyone. No need to worry about me ". You say with your usual low and calm tone . " how can we not worry you're our friend ". Kaminari says . You try to smile . You look for bakugo but he isn't here . You feel a little disappointed and hurt ." look we brought sweets and flowers for you and these cards are from our classmates ". Mina says while putting everything on your bedside table . " thankyou everyone you didn't have to this for me . " you say looking at all the get well soon cards and flowers . " of course we had to ". Sero says . " by the way yn you were so manly today . I didn't knew you were that powerful " Kirishima says smiling . " yeahh that dragon even I could see it from so far . It was so big! ". You smile at them . " it was my first time doing something like that " . You say feeling embarrassed with so much compliments.

" hey Kirishima where's bakugo ". Mina asks . The mention of bakugo makes you interested. " I don't know he didn't pick up his phone ". Kirishima says . You feel a tug at your heart . It's okay . He must be tired . He should rest too. " hey guys you all must be tired. You should get some rest too . I'm fine now so you don't have to worry about me ". You look at them . " no no we're all fine . Don't worry ." Mina says shaking her head . You all talk for a while ." hey I think we should let yn rest now . She needs energy after everything ." Kirishima says . You all bid your bye . It's all so silent all of a sudden .

You remember all the incidents that happened today . Bakugo and I hugged each other! This was the important thing I was forgetting. He told me that he doesn't think I'm weak . Omg! How could I forget this . I think my heart is gonna burst today!! You also remembered that you said he smells like caramel infront of him . " oh noo " you say to yourself . " what oh no?" You hear the familiar voice and turn your head to see bakugo sitting on the chair beside you . Your jaw hangs and your eyes are almost out of the sockets. " w-when did you come here?" You say looking at the door . You didn't even hear the door opening . " when you were making those weird faces and giggling to yourself ". Your face turns red .

" are you okay? " you ask him to change the topic .
" hah? Me? I'm more than fine dumbass . talk about yourself". He says looking at you . " I'm fine now " . You say playing with your fingers ." what did the doctor say ?" He says while looking down at his shoes . " um they said that my quirk is way too powerful for my body and I need to work on my physical Health. I absorbed too much heat that my body couldn't process it ." You explain .
" take care of yourself dumbass and train with me ".
He says the last part quietly. " what?" You look at him . " I said train with me ". He looks in your eyes .
" and if you need to absorb heat again come to me not that icy-hot ". He turns his face .

Is he jealous? But why would he be jealous . I held todoroki's hand ? . " are you jealous ? " you say without thinking . He snaps his head to face you . You can only wish you could take it back . " so what if I am?"He says so quietly thinking You can't hear him . "What?" You say as your heart skipped a beat . He's avoiding eye contact with you . " why? Why're you jealous bakugo?" You look at him in hope to get an answer but your cousin opens the door . " oh did I interrupt something ?" She says smiling awkwardly. You both look at each other for a sec and then bakugo touches your temple with his knuckles.
" take care, red eyes" and he leaves .
