Chapter 12 <3

We went straight into Monomas house. His mom was sitting on the couch, apparently waiting for him to get home. "Welcome home Neito." She turned around to face him just to see his hugging me tight. "Ah, whos this? Got a boyf-"
"Now is not the time mom. Im sorry but we need a minute." He walked me over to the couch and we sat down. My whole face was soaked in tears. His mom immediately stood up after seeing me crying. She ran over to the freezer and grabbed chocolate ice cream, then handed it to me.
"Ice cream tends to calm Neito down, so maybe it can calm you too." She gave me 2 spoons.
"T-thank you.." I somehow managed to mutter out. Monoma and I started eating the ice cream. It does kinda calm me down, but thats something Ill never be able to forget. I hated every second of it.
"Do you guys want to talk about whats going on? You dont need to, but it might help to."
I nudged Monoma as to say 'tell her please', which he thankfully understood.

As he was explaining what happened, there was a knock on the front door. It was my mom. I stood up and ran straight into her arms, crying again. "Im sorry it took so long to get here. The neighbors started yelling at me again for leaving at this time of night." I was about to apologize, but I thought I shouldnt. Its not really my fault mom had to drive out here, its that guys. And its not our fault the neighbors are rude.
"Do you want me to start over and explain?" Monoma asked us, standing up. Our moms both agreed and we all sat down.

It was hard to hold back tears as he recalled the whole situation to the two. I felt so embarrassed crying in front of his mom, I dont even know who she is. This is the worst first impression ever.
After sitting together and taliung for about 30 minutes, my moms phone started ringing. It was my aunt. She wanted to know if we were busy doing anything tomorrow because she wanted us to go out to dinner and the mall together. Us being me, mom, her, and Tamaki. Mom told her that we might need to wait because of everything that happened. Then mom asked something I didnt really expect. "Could we stay at your house tonight?" I was confused as to why, but then I got it. Mom doesnt want us sleeping on this street tonight because of that guy. It makes some sense. It would be safe to go to a different part of town. My aunt agreed and we started saying our goodbyes to Monoma amd his mom.
As we were walking out the door Monoma stopped me and hugged me. "Please be safe out there Y/n. I dont want anything happening to you. Who will I tease then?" he joked. I saw tears in his eyes, and it made me feel horrible. I was making him cry.
"I can try my hardest. Ill talk to you later Monoma."
"Just call me Neito," he said with a small smile on his face. He waved to me and mom, and we left.

As we were driving, mom looked over at me. "So, that Monoma kid is a lot different when hes scared, huh?"
"Yeah, he really is." I sounded a bit rude when I said that.
"Well, Im glad to know he still has a bit of heart. The fact that he cares about you is enough to let me know that."
We sat in silence for a few minutes. It just felt scary to be out. "Im sorry that happened. But, you had him to protect you when I couldnt. I know how you can be sometimes, so youre probably gonna blame yourself for all of this. But its not your fault, okay?"
I nodded. "Can we watch The Craft when we get there?" I asked, trying to get my mind off the situation.
"Its pretty late, but as long as theyre okay with it, then yes." Im glad that mom and I have some similar interests. Sure, its because she showed a lot of them to me, but Im still glad. Its nice.

When we got there, I saw Tamaki sitting on the couch with Togata. He looked like he was having fun talking to him, so I didnt bother him. I know its okay for me to talk to Togata, but I feel like he just wont like me. Im weird, and I know how most people feel about weird, and I didnt want to cry anymore tonight. I walked over to the kitchen to find something to eat so I could have something other than all the sweets we had today. I just decided to eat a banana. Mom went upstairs to find her sister, so I sat on the floor of the kitchen, not wanting to get in the others way.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and I jumped. It was just Tamaki. "A-are you okay? I heard about what happened."
"Yeah, Im alright. Why dont you go back to talking to your friend?"
"Hes using the restroom, s-so I figured I could talk to you." He gave me a small smile.
"Im sorry..."
"Why? You didnt do anything."
"I probably worried you."
He sat there for a moment with an odd look on his face, then gave me a small hug. "You did worry me, b-but it would worry anyone. Are you sure youre alright Y/n?"
I nodded. Just then, Togata came back. "Heya! Hows it going you two?"
"Can I go use the restroom?" I asked. Being the kind people they are, they let me. I really just needed a break from being on the groud. I didnt need to use the restroom at all, so I just stood against the wall. My phone vibrated in my pocket, so I opened it. It was a text from Monoma. Crap, I mean, Neito. Thats gonna take a while to get used to.

e: yeah why??

Neito: i just wanted to check on you, thats all!
sooooo you alright?

Me: yup, im good, i guess

Neito: whaddya mean "i guess"???

Me: i just feel awkward lol
my cousin has a friend over so i cant talk to him or anything without feeling annoying ://

Netio: welllll you can talk to me :}

Me: really?

Neito: yes really, are you an idiot?

Me: yeah lol

Neito: i mean sometimes you are
BUT ANYWAY you can call me if you need to

Me: alright bet

I did exactly that. We were on the phone for about an hour. Dont worry, I obviously left the bathroom, itd be weird if I didnt. I went and sat down it the guest room, which is where mom and I would be sleeping. She was in the livung room talking to my aunt, and Tamaki and Togata were in his bedroom, so I didnt really have to whisper. It was nice talking to him. He's not as crazy as he usually is, but he's slowly getting it back. I like this side of him.

Okayy so this chapter is shorter than the other one but itll do. I went to the dentist the other day and now I have 2 more appointments :((( the dentist also told me to get therapy- I also got sick yesterday, so that sucks. At least I can still write lolol Anywaysss Im trying to regularly update this, so Ill see everyone soon!! Until the nect chapter, byeeeeeee
