We meet again

ⵌ Chapter one

Finney and Gwen was walking to school. It was a new year for Finney. He was finally starting High School but he was quite nervous about it. This wasn't elementary anymore. This was something big and he was definitely not ready for this.

"Finn stop over thinking" Gwen said. Gwen was always the fearless one. She was rarely nervous about anything. She was always the confident one.
Finney sighed before stopping. "You're not going into high school I am" He said before starting to walk again.

Gwen rolled her eyes. "You're just a pussy" She said. "What? You are, and ever since Rob-"

"Don't talk about Robin" Finney said in a stern like tone. He was definitely mad. He just huffed and continued to walk.

Finney took a deep breath before walking across the street to his school. It was definitely crowded this year. There were people he knew and some people he didn't know.

Then there was a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see a smiling Bruce. "Sup Finn joining the baseball team this year?" He asked.

Finney looked at him before nodding. "Yeah, I might. You?" Bruce nodded. Of course he was joining.

"Come on" Vance ran up to Bruce grabbing onto his hand. "I'm trying to get them to give us the same schedule, Sup Finn" He spoke trying to pull him away from Finney.

"Sorry Finn, we'll talk another time" He said before running along with Vance.

Bruce and Vance were the nations couple. Opposites attract right? Nobody knew two hot boys would end up together but that's what happened.

Finney wasn't jealous or nothing. Definitely.

Finney sighed walking down the hall with his schedule in his hand. He had a total of 8 classes. Usually Robin was here and they would compare schedules. But he wasn't and he missed him a lot.

He walked over to his first class peeking inside. There weren't many people in there so he was good. He got a seat in the back and sat there by himself.

He put his backpack on the back of his chair and took out his notebook.

"Good morning class." The teacher said. "Today we're gonna establish some classroom rules" Finney started to space out. The teachers voice fading in the distance.

All he could think about was Robin. He didn't understand why he had to leave him. Finney knew it wasn't his fault though. He was only doing what he was told. Of course Robin didn't want to leave Finney, they had just gotten close. They even kissed once. It was only a peck but he loved it.

"Finney!" The teacher yelled. He looked up at her coming back to reality. "For gods sake, they want you in the office I've called you like 20 times"  He nodded before getting up. "Sorry miss, I was distracted" Finney got up and walked out of the classroom to the office.  When he got there he couldn't even believe his eyes.

"Robin?"

Finney was quick to pull Robin into a hug. He couldn't believe it was him. It was his best friend. Robin smiled embracing the hug. It had been a long time since he saw Finney and he was so happy to see him again.

"How's it been Finn?" Robin asked. "Great, wow, haven't seen you in a long time" Finney said in excitement. He was almost out of breath by how excited he was.

"I told you I'd come back tho" Robin said. "Just waitin on my sched' I told them to give us the same one" Robin explained.

Finney nodded with a hum. "Yeah.." Now that he thought about it, it was kinda awkward seeing Robin again. I mean what would they talk about? It's been so long so they even know each other anymore?

"Here's your schedule Arellano". The principal said handing him a sheet of paper. "Muchas gracias, Principal Owens" Robin grabbed onto Finney's arm and pulled him along. "Come on let's go"

The first day of school wasn't so bad for Finney. He and Robin were inseparable, they were together the whole day and they decided to have a little study session after school.

The three were all walking home Finney, Gwen, and Robin. "Glad you're back Robin" Gwen said. Robin nodded. "Me too, I missed Finney especially" That made him blush.

Robin was always a charmer even when he didn't intend to be one. Gwen elbowed Finney. She knew how much Finney like Robin. She didn't understand why they just didn't get together already.

Finney blushed even more. "Anyway, Rob's coming over?" Gwen asked. Gwen nodded. "Yep, it's maths again" Robin said in a annoyed tone. Robin still wasn't good at math. He was glad to be back with Finney so he could help.

"Dad, we're home!" Gwen yelled out. Finney made his way over to his room with Robin.

Finney laid his backpack on his bed followed by Robin. "So we're gonna study right away or?"

Finney nodded. Yep, they were gonna practice a bit. Not too much just enough for Robin. "We'll take breaks in between" Robin let out a breath of relief. "Good because I hate this math thing"

Finney sat on the bed next to Robin. They pulled out their books and started to study. They were studying for a good hour and thirty minutes.

"And if you look here you'll see tha-" Finney cut off when he saw Robin was fast asleep. He let out a small chuckle. Robin was definitely cute when he was sleep. He looked peaceful.

Finney decided to just close their book and put away their things and just go to sleep. Robin could stay here right? It wouldn't hurt if he stayed the night right?

Finney got up to get his clothes for his shower. He turned the light off before leaving the room.

After his shower he put his dirty clothes in the hamper and started to lay down. As soon as he got into the bed Robin grabbed onto his waist pulling him closer.

Of course this made him blush. He and Robin never been this close. Finney swallowed before taking a deep breath. It's nothing, he thought. Just a hug.

"Finn I wanna hold you, Por favor, déjame" Finney felt Robin pull him closer to where Robin was cuddling into his back.

Finney decided to turn around and just wrap his hand around Robin pulling him in close. Robin smiled to himself. Victory had been his.

There they laid together that whole night holding onto each other like they weren't gonna see each other again.
