Chapter Eight: Vampire Empire

"Shirley! Through here!" screamed Kendra as they both jumped to their left in order to dodge a giant ax that was going to swing right through them. Both girls had barely entered the castle in San Diego which belonged to Pierce. They had gone inside through a hole in the big backyard and ran through a corridor, which lead them to a giant room with axes swinging from the sky. The room had candles all over the place and you could see walls covered with blood. "What a great welcoming party he is throwing for us", said Shirley who gave her hand to Kendra in order to pick her up. "Weird stuff has been happening to us since we got these powers, and the L", said Kendra as she grabbed her hand and started to run through the room, in order to get to the end of it. "Why did we even listen to the invitation?" asked Shirley, as an ax came directly in front of her, she extended her arms and then closed them with the giant blade in between her fist. "That was a close one Shirley, well, that invitation said everything would be explained at this castle, plus we have nothing else to do, but fight with this gift", said Kendra, and the ax that Shirley, hit crumbled on the floor. Shirley had gotten a very strong power, the ability of super strength. However, just like everything else, it has its own limitations. Every time that she releases strength it starts to minimize, and her punches start to get weaker by the minute. However, her body recovers after a five hour rest. They finally made it to the end of the room and opened the door, just to find themselves in another giant room, however, it had absolutely nothing inside of it.

Leon, Bianka, Angie, Liz, Jasmine, Carlos, Joone, and Ryan where making their way inside of the welcoming giant metal door, which opened for them at their sight. Passing through the red carpet they observed the various decorations that complemented the depressing black walls. The candles danced on the building and everybody stood as they witnessed that their path was blocked by a giant red wall. "What is going on, Jasmine which was it?" asked Liz who was touching the walls. "I don't know, but we better hurry, or Pierce will find out that we are here", said Jasmine, her blue dress shinning with the candles. "Guys, I am a little scared here", said Ryan. Carlos walked to him and grabbed his hand, "Don't think its weird", he said as he transformed into Karla and dragged Ryan with her hand. "Guys, I think that there might be some kind of clue on the walls about how to get past this", said Karla's feminine voice, she was on a scorching red outfit. "Joone, what do you think we should do?", asked Bianka, who was wearing her blue skirt, her brown hair moved in her ponytail as she searched for Joone. "He is not here", said Leon, as another voice entered the room. 

"Welcome, to the last party of your lives! Human warriors, tonight you will be my personal entertainment", said a manly and mocking voice that came from the walls. "Who the hell is speaking?", asked Angie as she pressed her hands on her vest, ready to make a bomb explode on any minute. The voice could also be heard where Shirley and Kendra where. "Do you hear that?" asked Shirley to Kendra. "This will be my little game, my military strategy, I will be able to eliminate the whole human group, very small if you ask me, and eliminate one of the seven holders of the sorcerer's magic council! Joone", Binka was surprised to hear this, "sadly, two strong members of my team have left me, but I am glad that they are back to their own place, and ready to meet their end here", Liz and Jasmine frowned at this comment," now human army, hear my rules, this castle hold countless traps, and your main goal is to get to my room, which of course is hidden behind all of this mess, think about as a chess board, while my only tokens will be five, my five generals, who will be in this maze too, their goal is to prevent all of you to give another step. Their ultimate goal being all of your deaths. The ten of you must get here, if anyone can get here, I will release one of the children and, give a special surprise for Angie, an anti-viral Vampire medicine" Angie looked surprised. "Why would I even need that?" she asked the walls. "And what do you mean, by ten of us, we are only eight?", asked Leon. "Angie, your question will be answered as you play this game, and Leon, you have two members of the human group that you saved when they were demons, Shirley and Kendra, I personally invited them here with the purpose of taking all of you down", finished Pierce. Kendra and Shirley now started to understand things. "We, need to meet them and have them explain everything to us", said Shirley. "Let the games begin!", screamed the voice.
