Chapter Five- The Fourth

"So, what are these pills for? And more importantly where is Karla?" asked Leon, as he held a container of pills, he stared at it and thought of the many things that they could be for. "You see, Karla, well she is actually my sister", said Carlos as he passed  his hand through his black hair. They were now in Leon's house, trying to figure out what would be their next move. Jasmine had left them, saying that she had some business to take care off. "Well, Liz, we should see each other again, and I hope that our affairs will be all solved", those were Jasmine's last words as she opened the door of the house and winked at Liz. Bianka had raised from her slumber some hours ago, and she was sitting in the couch listening to Carlo's conversation and explanation. Arl, who had said sorry for the trouble he had caused as a demon, left the place, he did not say much, but only that he wished to meet with them once again, some other day. Shirley did the same, though she looked more reluctant to let go of the comfort and safety that she had with the swordsman, vampire, and witch. Luckily, she fell better when Kendra offered to go with her, they figured that they needed to check something in Vegas before they could advance forward.

"The day all of this chaos began, I was with my sister, I had just picked her up form work when some demons attacked us, we ran and ran until we got to this dark corner, there she died", Carlos turned his head down, tears were rolling down his face. He used his black sleeve to clean out one tear and looked back up. "My life was over then, but then, out of nowhere, this woman dressed all in black, with a hood covering her face, came to me, and cast a spell on me", Leon, Liz and Bianka looked more intensely at Carlos, " the soul of my sister could live inside of my body, however, that means that only one of us can be in the human world at a time. Sadly, I could not be with my sister at all, since when I was outside, she would be dead, but when she came outside, I would be dead. Those pills will let our soul combine", finished Carlos. "What do you mean, combine?" said Liz as she got up from her chair. "When I am outside, she will be able to be with me mentally, and we will be able to turn into each other whenever we want to, but only if we keep taking these pills, which are one per day, the container has thirty", Carlos stood up and smiled, he was very attractive, he had to since he shared his genes with a beautiful lady. 

"A spell that can revive the dead, who in the magic world can use such a thing,  Vonich is too much of a bitch to even present herself in front of a human, she really hates them, so who else can go to such advanced magic?" asked Bianka who had said nothing through the whole conversation. "I don't know, but what I want is to be able to live along my sister again", said Carlos. "Yes living along your sister", Leon turned around and slowly walked into his room. He got form his bed an old photo of him and his sister, she was just five in that picture and she looked adorable, with brown haired ponytails and a big smile, holding a toy and her brother's hand. He folded the picture and placed it inside his jean's pocket. Liz opened his door, "We are living now during the night, tomorrow morning we will be at San Diego to dig into the business of your sister, don't worry." She smiled and left the room. Liz and Bianka had already explained everything to the two humans, how demons, mages, and vampires lived in another dimension, Earth was their little playground, and they decided to monopolize it by crashing the two dimensions and fighting for the terrain.

Carlos, grabbed a pill, he was ready to see the effect it had on him, he sat there waiting to hear something, when suddenly, "Carlos! I am awake, what the hell, I am in your body? Ughh", it was Karla's voice, heard only in his head. "Karla the pills are working!" he told her aloud and everybody looked at him as they were packing some food into plastic bags. Suddenly, instead of a manly figure sitting at the table, there was Karla, with a bright red dress, tight enough to emphasize her amazing body. "Well guys, it seems we will all be good friends after all", she smiled and started to help pack everything. "Sister, just in case anything happens from here on, I just want to let you know, I love you, and I appreciate that you took care of me all of this time", that was what Carlos said inside of her head. "I love you too silly, and you should not worry, nothing will happen, we are in a safe place, I just hope we can make ourselves useful", thought Karla, which means that Carlos could hear her. And the blonde smiled as she was given the car keys, "You drive the first out", she said to Carlos, and they switched spots.
