It was my 4th year at Hogwarts but my last I was ahead of the curve, always was so it was no surprise. I was going to graduate early no distractions. I was the highest in my class and a mighty good chaser on the Hufflepuff quidditch team if I do say so myself.
I walked onto the platform 9 3/4 with my mum and dad walking past masses of muggles.
"Remember to keep the bracelet on, we can't have any accidents." My mum stressed.
"I know mum,I know you can't stress it enough." I wasn't trying to be rude but she's always like this the struggles of a siphon witch.
" I'm sorry hun but we can't have what happened last year happen again, you know that." My dad tried to make me feel better but failed miserably.
" I'm going to find Cedric love y'all." I quickly rushed away trying to find Cedric. I climbed into an empty compartment and waited for him we sat in the same compartment every year this year will be no different. I saw a short blonde witch make her way to the compartment and also a ginger. Luna. I thought to my self.
" hello Rory, this is Ginny do you mind if she sits with us. I knew of Ginny but didn't know her personally. I Also knew what happened last year poor girl.
"Of course." I stated with a small smile.
Cedric came running in with a silly grin on his face.
" what is it Ced." I smiled in my sentence, still ready my book I had started.
" she said hey to me." He basically squealed.
I giggled to myself Ced had been basically obsessed with Cho from his first year.
" big accomplishment Ced really it is" I said sarcastically. I know I was in a pissy mood and I didn't mean to take it out on him but sometimes I couldn't help it.
" what's got you all moody."he said while rolling his eyes.
"Sorry Ced, I didn't mean it pinky promise." I held out my pinky.
"You better be." And held out his pinky. And of course we made a pinky promise.
He looked at wrist and saw the bracelet. He was one of the only people who knew about my "condition" but he didn't treat it like a problem like my parents did he thought it was cool and powerful. But power is scary to to many people. It mentally and physically hurt me to keep the bracelet on it kept me from siphoning I had permanent marks from where the metal on the bracelet was it hurt my magic so there for hurting me.
"Rory are you ok your head is filled with nargles ." Luna broke the silence I had forgotten for a moment Luna and Ginny where here to be honest.
"Fine Luna ,but what are nargles" I questioned.
" things that fill your head nuisance really." Ginny stated.
"Good to know." I smiled
We talked about silly things like me and Cedric telling them about hodsmead, the new quidditch season and Ginny's rather large family. I wasn't used to a large family i and a brother but he was older and didn't come around much anymore so it was usually just me and my parents. We also talked about how I was graduating this year and not having a clue about what I was doing after school. Well almost. I wanted to play quidditch but that not a solid job my parents always told me. Auror sounded like a good option but the training was lengthy and hard to get accepted too, but I shouldn't have a problem I was top of my class alway had been. In first year my professors noticed I was so ahead of my class and started to realize I was bored out of my mind. So they moved me up to third year. I stilled stayed at the top of my class but was also learning new things that I enjoyed so by the end of my 4th year I'd be done with Hogwarts. This will be my last year

The train stopped suddenly. Making are compartment jerk. I put my book in my robes and are little group started heading to the carriages.
" are you happy your graduating early." Ginny asked me.
"Sorry that's probably really invasive I'm sorry." She mumbled.
" no it wasn't at all Gin, sometimes I regret not having all the experiences with my classmates seeing as I'm not close with them, but no I'm glad I chose too but sometimes I really do miss that I didn't have the same experiences as my classmates." I answered with a small smile
" well you can always hang out with me and Luna." She stated with a smile.
" thank you very much Gin." She smiled at the nickname I gave her.

" well who is this Ginny making friends I see." A voice said behind me. Me and Ginny turned around to see her two old brothers Fred and George .
"I am actually, thank you very much." She rolled her eyes.
" and what your name?" George asked resting his arm on my shoulder.
"Rory , not armrest." I retorted while pushing his arm off of me.
"Good to know Rory." He gave a sly smile.

"Come on Ror we should ketch up to Cedric and Luna." Ginny retorted.
And with that we left the two ginger boys behind.
"sorry about them they don't really take a hint."
I smiled at the small ginger.
"No worries didn't bother me that much now we better ketch up with them or they might leave us." I smiled and started running to Luna and Cedric in front of us with Ginny following behind me.

Me and Cedric walked to the Hufflepuff table while Ginny to the gryfindoor, and Luna to Ravenclaw. Me and Cedric sat down and started making conversation with are fellow house mates.
" did you hear about Sirus Black, first ever wizard to get out of Azkaban." Lily Burney said showing me and Cedric her copy of Wizards weekly . She was in my dorm but we didn't speak much most of her friends where Ravenclaws but both of us didn't really mind.
     "Bloody scary, to be honest he could be any where." I mumble while putting cantaloupe on my plate.
    " don't worry I'm here to protect you, obviously." Cedric stated while flexing his muscles, or the lack there of.
   "Cedric, your my best friend really but I don't even think you could hurt a fly." I giggled while patting him on the back.
   "Could I have your attention students?" Professor Dumbledore spoke, making me jump in my seat a little.
  " We have a few announcements to make before we continue with are supper. First, we have a new professor joining us, Professor lupin will be teaching defense against the dark arts."
  He had raggedy clothing and scars on his face but kind eyes. He can't be near as mad as our last professor. Goldory Lockheart a sorry excuse of a man.
   "Also students keep in mind that the dark forest is strictly forbidden from all students, and with that continue your supper." professor dumbledor sat back down and me, and Cedric started talking about the Quidditch season.

   Dinner ended shortly after that and I made my way back to the common room. I made my way down to the kitchens and typed the beat to the Helga Hufflepuff song on the secret door. It opened and I walked inside.
   It was rather hard getting to my dorm with the amount of 1st years and even some 2nd crowding in the Common room. But finally made my way to the girl's 4th-year dorms I saw my stuff was staying where it usually was right by the bed beside the window. Sara Beckwith's bed was beside me but she was usually with her Slytherin boyfriend so she usually wasn't here and neither was lily but when she was she kept to herself so usually I had an empty dorm all to myself. I put my clothes in my dresser and sat out my clothes for school, and made sure my school bag was put together.
  After I changed into my Hufflepuff pajamas I pulled back my covers and snuggled in. And closed my eyes preparing myself for tomorrow.
