I woke up before anyone in my dorm did I grabbed my toiletries and walked to the bathroom. I turned the shower on and stepped in the hot water against my skin felt good and melted my stress away I washed my hair and my body. And then stepped Out of the shower and grab the towel around my body. I went to the mirror and wipe the condensation off and started getting ready for my day.
My yellow and black play skirt was and white button down was sitting on my trunk I quicky put them on and dug through my trunk to find my docs and put a black jacket over my uniform.
I grabbed my new book little Women of my bookshelf and walked down the twist stair case to the our Common room. The Hufflepuff common room was really cozy it had a ton of couches and chairs and a few reading nooks and was filled with plants and other nick nacks.
I saw Ced he was reading a book I did not know sitting by a window.
" good morning Cedric" I was chipper this morning and was definitely showing it.
" good morning your awful happy is there any reason. "
" I just know it's going to be a good day, just have a feeling."
We walked hand in hand down the hall way people would think we were dating by first glance but honestly Cedric was my brother and my best friend not a love interest.
" why must there always be porridge but no coco puffs it's ridiculous really like coco puffs are a national favorite screw that a globe favorite." Cedric huffed.
" Ced I think you can live one day without coco. Puffs its not the end of the world."
"But it is rory my life revolves around coco puffs actually." he snorted.
  " I'm sure Cedric I'm sure." was laughing now.
" look here comes malfoy and his cheer squad I swear he has more gel in his hair then the military girl on that muggle app." he whispered in my ear.
Then I lost it j was laughing so hard couldn't help it Cedric was Wheezing and ended up banging his head on the table making laugh so hard a was bent  over almost screaming laughing trying to fight the urge to not roll on the ground. People where staring at are antics but we didn't car Cedric was holding his head but still laughing we where so happy we were gleaming.
  We ran down the hall getting to are class when j ran into a person Professor McGonagall to be exact.
"Shouldnt you be in class miss nightingale" she huffed.
  " trying to get there professor." I smiled up at her.
"rory if you don't hurt we're going to be late." Cedric yelled from up the hall. I looked at him and back at the professor.
  " well I better be off don't wanna be late." I laughed and sprinted off.
" I would run faster the bells about to ring Nightengale." her professor shouted at her.
Little did rory know that her professors heart was think about one marauder that the young girl reminded her of.
I sprinted up to ced and we barely made it to defense against the dark arts and slid into are seats quickly. We sat by Theo we had all been friends since 2nd year when we met him in the library, we where quite close even though he was a Slytherin and friends with malfoy none of us seemed to care.
  " you both are late on the first day." he whispered shouted at us.
  " don't know what your talking about Theo" I gave a cheesy smile
"Hello class my name is Professor Lupin" a tall man walked in he looked a little raggedy but still presentable he had a kind face but was littered with scars.
" I believe your last professor got you quite behind on your work last year so we are going to work on something you should have learned last year, protronuses can any body tell me what they are used for and what there form is." I had read up on them last year for some light reading and got Intresad so i quickly raised my hand.
" ahh misses."
" Nightengale sir." I could see him flinch my sir name was known for there blood supremacy and down right Cruelty to others.
" they can be used to send a message to another wizard but also can be used to fight off dementors, they take the form of the wizards or witches spirit animal." I stated quickly quite uncomfortable for how he reacted to my sir name.
" now all of you stand up and push the desks to the side of the room."he spoke.
After we moved all the desks we stood waiting for instructions.
" not the Patronus charms can be difficult for some people, you have to think of your most happiest memory and only that if you let other things intrude and your memory fade the charm will fail, the charm is called epexto patronum, every one say it with me."
" Expecto patronum." rang through the class room.
" now I do not expect you to get it the first try or even this class for this charm can be very difficult so do not stress if don't get it today you have plenty of time." are professor stated to the class.
Me, Theo, and Cedric where all lined up side by side. Trying to think of a happy memory.
" ready snake." Cedric said with a goofy grin,
" ready as I'll every be badger." Theo shot back. I let out a small laugh. And started to think of the happiest memory I could think of.
When my brother Taught me how to ride a broom flashed through my mind. A small spark of blue light whisper out. I thought again when I first came to Hogwarts. I bigger whips flew out. I thought of when she and the stayed at the diggorys house all summer and all the memories they made. A huge blue light shot out slowleu forming into a huge shaggy dog, it let out a loud bark and ran around the class room running around the and Cedric and landed at my feet. I sat in awe trying to keep my memory intact but when someone let out a laugh it quickly disappeared along with the shaggy dog. My lips turned into a smile I had done it me. I was so happy on cloud nine if you will.
" Amazing work miss Nightengale very impressive indeed, very good job." professor lupin gave me a soft smile it was different from when he Scowled and tensed up when he heard my last name.
Theo and Cedric kept working and ended up getting there's too. Theo was a beautiful Linx while Cedric was a badger classic Hufflepuff.
I went to my next class alone defense against the dark arts was the only class I had with my friend since I was up 2 years l. I walked into newts potions and sat beside the only person I knew, Oliver.i had known him from Quidditch matches and such.
" uhh can I sit here or you saving for a friend." I asked quietly.
" nah mate have a seat don't have any friends in this class. He returned leaning back in his chair.
" me neither." I sat beside him pulling out my potions book and my notebook.
"You are here because you are the best of the best the newt's students now I shouldn't have to explain my rules to you because you have all been in my class before now get to work." professor shapes voice rang through the class room.

After a long posions lesson and an even longer one from professor and an even longer one from Trelawney I made my way down to the hufflepuff comment rooms and up to my room which I expected to find empty but much to much to my dimay to wizards sitting on my bed eating cocopuffs and watching legally blonde, weirdos.
" bout time you got back been watin on you for bloody forever." theo muttered as he flew a coco puff into Cedric's mouth. " bullseye." he shouted Triumphantly when he made it directly into his mouth.
" some people have classes unlike you two." I said while flopping onto my bed.
" that's your fault miss over achiever have to graduate early and leave her beloved friends behind to fend for themselves ." Cedric dramatically stated while fake fainting into the.
" get off of me you big baboon." they pushed Cedric off the bed so he fell straight onto the floor.
"you've killed me ill rot in hell because of you theo I'll haunt you till the day you die." ced shouted but it was quite muffled seeing he was face down on the floor.
" I'm sure ced now get up supper will be starting soon." I tried to pull him up but pain shot up my arm. And I gripped my arm towards my chest.
" does it hurt bad Ror." they stated while lifting up my arm to see a red swollen mess around the bracelet that kept me from siphoning it looked burned from where the metal sat on my arm, it hurt as bad as it looks.
" only when I do powerful magic, I guess defense against the dark arts made it worse than usual," I stated while putting healing cream on the sores.
" you need to stop wearing It it's hurting you, Rory. You might put on a show for the professors hell maybe even your parents but we can tell it's Draining you it's only a little while before it takes too much." Cedric said in a soft voice while sitting beside me.
" Cedric my parents would have a fit if they found out that I took it off anything other then perfect would be a disgrace to the family."
" it's stupid your perfect just the way you are." he mumbled back.
" it's the way pure-blood families live." me and Theo said in unison. Me and theo knew the life all too well. Constantly having to be perfect always ready for any situation if it means sacrificing yourself. Both of are parents have given their lives to make sure that no one sees through the curtains that no one knows that both are families where falling apart piece by piece. So when ever you messed up you would get "tough love" what my parents liked to call if but it was more abuse then love. I smiled back at them pulling away from my thoughts.
"Race ya to the great hall who ever wins gets movie pick tonight." I said while sprinting off.
I ran down the hall with Theo and Cedric right behind me. I took a quick turn and ran smack dab into the great hall door.
" ha I win laying down on the floor after probably giving myself a concussion.
" yea you also ran into a door lard ass," they said with a smirk.
" haha so funny I still get to pick the movie we watch tonight." I gave a cheesy grin.
Theo decided to sit with us so we went over to the Hufflepuff table and sat down and started filling are plates.
" you here bout sirus black escaped from Azkaban," Cedric said while filling his mouth with mashed potatoes.
" how do you even go about escaping Azkaban, isn't it in the middle of the sea." them stated.
" I guess he jumped out and started swimming like don't." I mumbled.
" he might have caught a ride with a dolphin or something." Cedric let out.
" I thought dolphins raped you if you get to close to them." Theo snorted.
" Theo how would that even work. It's a dolphin and a wizard." Cedric said with a shocked look on his face.
" penis vagina." I said while making a circle with my fingers and poking my other finger through.
" you too truly discusst me." Cedric said while scoffing.

"Of course I did you two are just Disgusting ." He said awkwardly.
me and Theo died out laughing so hard people stared looking at us form different houses. It was a common to see us three laughing and always together. I wondered what it will be like next year I'll be gone and they'll still be here.

I saw them laughing at the Hufflepuff table I keep getting flashes of me, James and Sirius. I Remembered earlier that day when I stiffened at Rory's last name she saw me do it to. But any doubts about who she was as a person vanished when I saw her Potronus a Raggady dog just like Sirius. I was pulled out of my thoughts when Minnie spoke to me.
" she remind you of him doesn't she." she stated just above a whisper.
" everything does he's always on my mind now that he's out."
" she's powerful, but won't let herself use it she constantly doubts herself about who she's meant to be, a lot like him in that since." She whispers agian.
" I guess so." And then I continued eating trying to stray my mind anywhere but him.

" so what movie should we watch." I said giddily.
" anything but Tangled." Cedric mumbled trying to find a suitable blanket for his majesty.
"Tangled it is then." I grinned.

I snuggled into Theo while Cedric got himself comfy at the end of the bed. It wasn't long before Cedric had fallen fast asleep and it was jsut me and Theo awake watching the end of tangled where Eugene cut Rapunzel's hair away too short in my opinion.
" I hope I find some one who loves me like that, though I would probably reject them if they ever cut my hair that short." I mumbled snuggling closer into Theo his fingers running through my hair.
" you will don't worry Ror." He mumbled.
" do you think we'll make it out of this." I stated referring to the pure blood society.
" I pray to the lord if there is one that we will." He mumbled.
" we'll make it out together it'll be perfect free of all expectations just me you and Ced living are lives ." I replied back. I was dozing off and slowly was falling asleep.
" of course love" Theo placed a Kiss on my forehead and then we all where fast asleep.
