Chapter - 3

Anika frowned as she muttered something to herself and turned around..she was shocked to see Shivaay there

'Shivaay ney kuch suna nahi na?' she thought while dropping her frown

'Shivaay?' she called to Shivaay who standing their looking at her

'Kya hua Anika?' he asked with a serious tone

'woh..kuch nahi' she shuttered

'Anika please jhoot maat bolo' he said

'..Woh Shivaay meri ek childhood friend thi..' she started

And glanced at Shivaay who was listening

'Kavya...wusney bachpan se meri bohat help ki...abb...vuski tabyat (health) bohat kharab hai...' Anika said looking sad

'Issliyeh mai gussey mai thi...aur mai abb vusyeh milnry jarahi hu' She added

Shivaay looked at her and noticed the sadness in her eyes 'Theek hai..challo mai drop kardey tha hu' he said

'Nai..Shivaay aap ko meeting attend karna hai na' She said

Shivaay cupped her face and said 'Tumsey baad kar koyi meeting nahi'

Anika wants to reject but his words made her accept the offer

'theek hai challo' Anika replied

To which Shivaay smiled and left together with Anika

As Shivaay started to drive following the instructions given by the google maps...he tried to strike up conversation with Anika but she was silent the whole ride looking out from the window

'Lagtha hai yeh Kavya, Anika ki bohat acchi dost thi issliyeh Anika itna parishan horahi hai' he thought

And stayed silent the rest to the ride after 10 minutes of deadly silence Shivaay reached the location

Anika snapped from the daze as the car came to rest

'Aagey hai kya?' she asked looking at Shivaay

'Ha..jaha thak tumney bollotha..yahi woh place hai' Shivaay said

Anika looked and nodded in agreement that this was her destination

'Shivaay..mujey ghar anney late hoga aap ko koyi problem nahi nan' she asked 

'Nahi..tum aapni friends se kitna time  chayeh rehlena..paar ghaar atey time phone karna i will come pick you up' Shivaay replied

Anika leaned and hugged Shivaay and said 'Thank you' before leaving

Shivaay smiled at her wife as she went into the near by house the Shivaay turned the car around and left

'Anika..saach bollo tho tumey ek second key liyeh bhi aapni aako ae durr nahi chahatha parr tumari friend tumari liyeh kitni important hai woh tumati aakon mai dektha hai' Shivaay thought

'...oh snap out of it Shivaay..it was just a dream..sapney sach nahi hotey...parr issey pheley key sapney sach huyeh na...*sigh*' Shivaay thought as he stopped his car near his company

'Agaar woh sapna sach hoga ya nahi mai...aapni Anika ko bachha lunga just like how i protect everyone in our family' he said out loud and left to attend the meeting

As Anika entered the house she headed to the elevator near the stairs and pressed the buttons 0, 1, 8, 3 in an order and inserted a card in the slot there soon the lights flickered and a voice was heard

'Code?' asked the voice

'Ahalyanamika' replied Anika

'Identified' said the voice
