After Fred returned back home, I returned to my body as if nothing happened and saw my whole face worn, well, it wasn't evident at all because of my brown skin, but it seemed so dull that it was as if I had seen a ghost or something like that. I wanted to ask Fred about it but by the time I tried to look for him... he just disappeared out of nowhere and to this day, he still doesn't show up at the house.

And it's already been a month since Fred left out of the blue.

Maybe my suspicions that he was one of the murdered children were true and I had already accomplished his mission, anyway, I haven't seen him since. He'll probably be resting in peace after so many years of agony... it's the best thing for him. Now the thing is that I have to deal with the whole investigation without his help, although it wasn't much, just a part but... I can say that he "helped" me in his way.

(...)

As always, it's another school day, and even as I stepped off the bus, I was relieved not to hear another from their ridiculous canards, it makes me so sick, maybe everything was getting better around here...or maybe it was about what happened to the night guard and they're still freaking out about the cause of death, who knows. As the boys or rather Bonnie told me, it was that that robot they saw in the basement ended up killing the poor man and since then, that matter wasn't mentioned in the whole high school.

And while I was still entering the building, everyone seemed to continue with their same routine as if nothing had happened for a month... until out of nowhere Abby typed me and got in my way with a grimace of annoyance and with her hands on her hips:

-now you're in a mess- and now what are you talking about? Don't tell me that... oh... that:

-And that's why...?-

-Freddy, why did you go to the basement? You can't lie to me because all the Funtimes saw how you and your friends went down to snoop in school-prohibited areas-

-look, that's personal, okay? Plus you- wait, I can't say anything contradictory or she can tell the principal. We may be known for having the same tastes in music but still, she knows we went to the basement... more like Fred went to the basement with the boys and witnessed all that commotion:

-You're not going to tell anyone, right? - but she denied trying to stay calm and taking me by the tie to go talk to an empty room but without closing the door:

-You're lucky we're friends, I'm not to disappoint and if it's something personal, I'll understand as long as you don't end up in a serious problem- and I doubt that going to the basement is something serious:

-listen... now that Mister Toño was murdered in the basement, everyone says that the robot was guarded, it activated and disappeared from school, so they have already put locks on those stairs so no one goes down to snoop around, and they threw every object that was still stored in the basement to the garbage can- I don't know about you, but for me that seems like another piece of gossip... at least this one didn't make me as nauseated as the others of the girls who annoy Chica.

Well, so now the basement is closed, I'm not surprised so now we can't investigate there anymore. I really appreciate the others are okay and weren't hurt by that thing, otherwise, I would have never forgiven him. And now that I think about it, Chica told me that Puppet took that robot and the basement is so secure that no one will be able to trespass it for the rest of the year... well, what I missed when Fred took over my body.
