"BANGG!!"
"BANGG!!" Napatingin kami ni Eivan ng may marinig kaming sunod sunod na putok ng baril na nanggaling sa likod. Pagkaharap ko dito ganon na lang ang gulat ko ng makita ang hindi inaasahang tao.
"Asshole... Let go of my bride" Kumunot ang noo ko ng makita si Hadrian na may sugat sa ulo habang may hawak hawak na baril. Suot suot pa nya ang puting tuxedo na dapat gagamitin sa kasal pero napuno na ito nang dugo dahil sa sugat nyang tumutulo mula sa ulo. Tiningnan ko ang mukha nya, Kitang kita kung paano nagaapoy ang mga mata nya habang nakatingin kay Eivan.
"Ohhh... You're still Alive?" Patanong na sabi ni Eivan habang hinihila ako papalayo sa bangin. "Professional killers? Tsk... Useless bastards" I heard him whisper, I raised my eyebrows, so he tried to assassinate Hadrian? I look in Hadrian's direction. How did he manage to survive?
"I said let go of her!!" Ikinasa ni Hadrian baril at puno ng galit na ipinutok sa taas.
"BANGG!"
Eivan laughed. Nageecho ang mga tawa nya na sobrang nag parindi sakin. I tried to push him but he won't let go. Is this guy being serious? Does he want both of us to die?
"Shoot if you can" Iniharang ako ni Eivan sa harap bago inagaw ang baril ko. Ahhh kaya naman pala... Ugh, this coward... Seriously?
"Ivy, are you okay?" Pakinig kong tanong ni Hadrian, hinarap ko sya ng malamig.
"Why are you here?" Malamig kong tanong habang walang emosyong nakatingin sa kanya, ibinaba nya ang baril bago sinulyapan ng matalim na tingin si Eivan.
"I'm here to save you from that bastard" Aniya, tinatawanan ko sya na nagpataka sa kanya.
"Save me? How will you save me that you can't protect yourself?" I asked while looking at his blue eyes. Kita ko ang pagkagulat sa kanyang mga mata. He needs to get out of here. Such an idiot.
"Let's face it, Hadrian, this is not a love story in which a prince saves his princess from peril. Let's pretend you are the prince in this scenario, but I am no longer the princess who depends on you for protection, and you are not the valiant prince who would stop at nothing to save his princess."Kita ko ang katakahan sa kanyang mukha, at rinig ko ang pagpipigil ni Eivan ng tawa sa likod ko, I raised my left eyebrows... Does he get what I say?
"What..." He reacted, alam niyang may mas malalim na kahulugan ang mga salita ko pero hindi niya naiintindihan.
"Okay... Let me emphasize it, Hadrian... Leave the area now. You have no business being here." Seryoso kong sabi pero kumunot ang noo nya.
"No! I can't leave you here with that Asshole! He might hurt you! I will save you!!" He said full of arrogance. Nagsimula nang maginit ang ulo ko, I'm trying to be nice so I gave him more profound advice but I think his too brainless to get it. Malalim akong nagbuntong hininga.
"Let me say it again, Hadrian. I'm not the weak Ivy you formerly knew, I'm not the woman who always yells at people because her fiancé is involved in an affair, and I'm not the Ivy who is always fixated on you"
"Ivy!! I broke up with Hartleigh, we can get married and can start ov-" pinutol ko sya.
"Get married?" I laughed.
"I know you're not that stupid, Hadrian. You know I'm to blame for our wedding's demise today, don't you?" Natigilan sya. Napangisi ako.
"And please don't lower my standards, You're simply a haughty and cocky young man of a rich family... And I? I'm a contender for being the next mafia leader... Our world is totally different," Malamig kong sabi, ramdam kong napalingon si Eivan sakin sa sinabi ko pero nakafocus lang ang mata ko kay Hadrian.
