Ch 24

''You'll see. You'll see soon enough.'' Ailise rubbed her hands together.

''This is scaring me.'' Namjoon whispered to Taehyung.

A commanding voice startled them all.

''Did I not tell you to bring me my coffee, secretary Kim?'' A guy with blonde hair loomed over Ailise.

''Ah..! Right away, sir.'' Ailise ran out of there all while avoiding her boss's gaze.

''Wonshik?'' Namjoon heard Taehyung say from behind.

''Taehyung.'' Wonshik merely nodded as a greeting.

Namjoon slipped away to let the bosses talk.

''You're her boss?''

''Yes, you know her?''

''Yes, quite a but actually.'' Taehyung nervously laughed while remembering the times Ailise had rambled about her utterly awful boss during an outing.

''Here's your coffee, sir.'' Ailise said in between deep breaths.

''Calm down, you look like you came back after having sex.'' Wonshik remarked bluntly leaving Taehyung's jaw hanging open.

''Eh.. I'm used to it.''Ailise shrugged it off and ruffled Taehyung's hair.

Currently, all of them were in a meeting hall which had chairs for the bosses only. This pissed off all the assistants which came with their bosses. Naturally, Namjoon, Jaehyun, Cheonyoung came into that category too.

But wait- there's supposed to be one more.

Oh...

Ailise was sitting thanks to Namjoon because he had been offered Jungkook's extra seat which he refused and let his sister sit. His sister, of course, took it without an inch of hesitation.

''Konichiwa, everyone.'' A very high pitched voice said grabbing eveyone's attention.

''I thank all of you friends for being here with us. Now, we will discuss the matters which are required to defeat the evil sorcerer.'' This was a guy with dyed blue hair wearing a Hawaiian shirt.

''Sorcerer? What?''

''Excuse me?''

''This is the boss?''

All members of the meeting were very confused.

''Now, Sakura-chan will explain our deal to you, dear friends.'' He made way for a woman with dyed pink hair.

''Hello, friends.'' Her voice was even more high pitched. Somehow...

''Oh god, they're weebs.''

Someone said a bit too loudly.

''Weebs? We prefer the term enthusiasts. We adore the japanese culture very much.'' The woman with pink hair spoke out.

''Doesn't mean you have to be so wacky about it.''

After what felt like an eternity, the meeting ended.

While the others had all lost the dreadful war and had their ears were bleeding, those there were cheering happily. One more than the other two because she had captured the deal.

''Is this why you had earplugs?'' Namjoon asked Ailise.

''Yes.'' She answered.

''Thank you for your contribution, secretary Kim. You will be getting a raise very soon.'' Wonshik said and left soon after.

''Thank you, sir.'' Ailise shouted at her boss's back.

After her boss had left completely, she jumped in joy while holding Namjoon's hands.

''I'm getting a raise!'' She danced around while Namjoon looked like a rag doll being carried by an over-excited child.

Jungkook slowly opened his eyes to see sleeping faces of cute children. The caretakers along was slowly waking them up for their parents to take them home.

Seeing Jungkook awake, one of them asked, ''Did we wake you, boss? We're sorry.''

''No, it's alright.'' Jungkook smiled at them.

He looked down at the girl in his lap who had also begun to wake up. She yawned and looked around. Finding herself in someone's lap, she turned around to see Jungkook and smiled.

''Did you sleep well, Roselyn?''

She nodded quickly. ''And you?''

''I did too. Now let's go find our men.'' He got Roselyn and himself up, held her hand and walked towards the door.

''My apologies, sir. But you won't find boss or Mr. Kim here. They haven't returned from the meeting.'' An employee who had come to pick up her child was kind enough to inform him.

''Oh. Thank you for informing me, miss.'' Jungkook bowed and left.

''Mm... I'm hungry.'' Roselyn looked at her stomach.

''Then let's go eat, they'll eat when they return.''

Jungkook suddenly kissed Rosehyn on her nose.
''Thank you for saving me from that awful meeting, Roselyn.''
