I was awoken by my wife Kristen screaming, it turns out her water broke so we rush to the hospital.
Me and my wife were expecting two twin boys, I've always wanted to be a father so after I heard the news I was of course excited, well twins were definitely not what we expected but we were happy nonetheless.
//present at the hospital//no POV//
Phil was in the hospital waiting room waiting for the doctor to come, when the doctor finally came he was excited but that excitement will slowly turn to sadness.
"Your boys are healthy and ok" Says the Doctor
"And my wife?? " Phil questions
"She did not make it I'm so sorry for your loss"
"... "
Phil was speechless as the tears rolled down his face, the love of his life gone? What about him?what about their kids? Would he have to raise them alone?
"You can see your kids if you want sir"
With tears still streaming down his face he says "sure"
The moment he saw his boys he knew he would love them till the day he dies
"I will love and care for you till the days are gone" He whispers into the night.
