Alicia slowly opened her eyes the bright light hitting her face. She shields her eyes till she got use to the brightness then she sits up observing the room she laid in. She starts to remember the day before and how she ended up in the bed. She looks at the door as she starts hearing voices on the other side of the door. Alicia stands up and slowly approaches the door, reaching for the handle and opening it. She notices the nice lady from last night opening all the doors screaming the name Will. Joyce notices the girl and stops "oh Alicia listen I got to go find my son you just stay here okay" Alicia nods then looks at the other boy who stares back at her. "oh, Jonathan this is Alicia, Alicia this is Jonathan." She grabs her keys and runs out the door in a hurry leaving the two kids awkwardly staring at each other.
"so... where are you from?" Jonathan questions but the girl says nothing "um how old are you?" again Alicia says nothing. Jonathan sighs "you don't talk much... um here" he runs off into a different room coming back out but with clothes in his hands. "these are my brothers should be your size there are clean towels in one of the cardboards of the bathroom" he shows her to the bathroom. "I have to go to school now will you be okay alone?" the girl nods. Jonathan smiles softly "nice meeting you Alicia" he grabs his backpack then leaves through the front door. Alicia walks into the bathroom. She places the clothes on the counter then takes her clothes off. She walks into the shower looking at the knobs feeling confused by it. She turns them multiple times till she gets the shower to be freezing cold. She sighs in relief. This world was so hot for her she misses the cold of the upside down. Once done she turns it off and walks out. She decides to just put the clothes on without drying herself. She walks around the house dripping wet leaving puddles on the floor until she smells something in the air. She hasn't eaten since getting here so the smell of blood in the air made her stir crazy.
She walks outside and groans being under the ray of the sun making her slightly lightheaded. She walks into the forest following the scent until she is met with a man around 40 on the floor with a skinned knee.
"oh, hey could you get help I can't walk on my leg I think I twisted my ankle" the man says looking down at his leg then back to the girl. She didn't hear a word he said as all she could hear was his heartbeat, beating louder and louder. With no self-control since she didn't need it in the upside down, she pounces on the man ripping out his throat and sucking him dry. The screams of the man echoed through the woods until he was dead. Once she was done, she sat there, knees to her chest looking at the man that she tore apart. She burst into tears feeling awful for what she did. That's when she knew she couldn't go back to the Byers she could hurt them they were so nice to her she didn't want them dead, so she ran off covered in blood.
Joyce was at the police station talking about how her boy was missing when before she left, she asked about the girl she found. "she was just running in the dark on the street covered in dirt and blood maybe ran from an abusive home I don't know she doesn't talk"
"could you give me a description" Hopper asks while pulling out a notebook.
"brown hair uh blue eyes very pale and skinny I don't know her age, but she looks about 15 or 16" Hopper listens and nods as Joyce tells him what she looks like. His eyes widen it can't be he thought as he goes to a filing cabinet and pulls out a file.
"is this her?" Hopper questions slipping Joyce a photo of a girl who looks around 10.
"yeah, that's her god she's so young how long has she been missing?"
"about 5 years my coldest case." He sighs "was heartbroken I never found the girl apparently she went biking to a friends place and never returned" Joyce stares at the photo then looks at the file. "your kid might know her brother think they are in the same year." Hopper states. Joyce glances at the name.
"Alexandra Harrington."
Alicia walks through the forest as it becomes dark. She begins to hear people calling Wills name. She gets frightened and keeps running, no one can see her she's covered in blood. She stops at a place called Benny's. She looks through the window just intime to see a woman shoot a man in the head. Her eyes widen as the strong scent of blood hits her. She ducks around the corner as she watches them all chase something or someone into the woods. Once she is alone, she walks inside and looks at the man on the floor. Before she inspects the man, she hears someone on their way back. She runs into a door leading to the kitchen. She ducks down, looking over a counter watching as they set up the man's body, putting a gun in his hand then leaving in their cars. Alicia sighs in relief walking back to the man running a finger in the blood as she licks her finger, she scrunches her face. Dead blood always tastes foul.
She investigates the place and finds a backroom with blankets she decides to camp out in the dinner for the night.
