Lyra waits patiently against the wall outside of the dressing room, for Eddie.

She looks around, thoroughly this time, before letting out an exhale to remove the tension from her body. To say being in there with Eddie wearing things she's made, had been a challenge was the understatement of the century. She'd poured her heart and soul into those outfits and he liked them!!

He had looked so dashingly devilish in the outfit chosen for the performance, and the one that was going to be a post show gift made him look like sin personified. But that was the thing, she knew that it would, and she still made it. Eddie Munson was an irresistible force of a giant star, and Lyra felt like a hopeless piece of space debris being sucked towards it.

That's exactly how that outfit had come about in the first place. She had been out thrifting, which is where she found a lot of vintage designer items, she knew some of the store owners quite well, and they would keep back bits and piece for her that they couldn't sell on.

Lyra didn't believe much in signs, but she did believe in inspiration. The first was a trash bag full of old motorcycle leathers that were beyond repair, then the old moth eaten suit. She'd laid them out in her sewing room floor when she got home, looked at them for a bit and nothing came to her. She went upstairs to finish up her school work and as she walked passed the sewing room door to get a drink, she stopped and went inside. On stepping into the room her olfactory system was overwhelmed by a collection of aromas. The room had become a master perfumer and resulting fragrance was one so familiar to her, it was intoxicating, it made her feel encompassed by something.

She shut the door behind her and lay in the middle of the clothing, shut her eyes and inhaled deeply. That's when her brain decided to play her a little montage of Eddie, just being his usual annoying self. It confused her initially, but when it started to slow the images down she realised she leapt up it was almost like something possessed her, ran for her sketch pad and scribbled furiously in it for hours.

Over the weeks the outfit started coming together the ones for the show were happening along side it, but this one, was pride of place in her sewing room. On the centre dress form. Whilst it had lived in her sewing room it was her secret, but as time ticked on the decision became a heavy one and the whole Eddie situation was getting worse.

How it had gotten to school was kind of her fault, she'd asked Phil if he'd drive over the outfits and being the thorough person he was, he had indeed done that. Including the outfit she'd been hiding. Then once Alan found it, it was game over.

The repeated temptation to touch him for a little longer whilst fixing his outfits had been so strong. She had to physically restrain herself several times.

She remembered her brain tempting her. Just stroke the back of his neck a little longer, softer. Look up into his eyes, and brush down the front of his shirt. He'd never know it meant anything, and would it be so bad if he did?

This then of course resulting in Lyra losing temper at him, but really she had lost her temper with herself.

Here was a guy, going out of his way, daily, to make her see he wasn't a threat to her, that he just wanted to help, and she had to do was just be normal around him.

Lyra shook her head. Eddie had punched through another of Lyra's defences today, letting her know he finally understood. She hoped that this shared understanding might make him a little less forward with her now, knowing that she's just trying to keep people off her back about her past. As a bonus it could mean she wouldn't have to do as much secret resisting of him.

Lyra wasn't the only one that had rumours floating around about her, Eddie had more than a few, the one constantly on her mind was how his type was allegedly anything that had a pulse, and honestly that made the whole temptation thing even worse, because according to the rumor mill if she wanted it, she could have it.
