Throughout the day Jungkook had not seen his soon-to-be-friend. He'd occasionally ask around but not a soul knew exactly where he was but knew where he'd been or usually was. Unfortunately, Jungkook was unable to locate him and had just missed him each time he got a lead in securing his target.
Not until he spotted said target outside after separating from someone after a brief conversation.

Jungkook smiled in victory over finding the black-haired individual and hurried his way towards the long-haired man, which Jungkook had quickly taken a liking to. He tapped on his shoulder, all giddy inside with a smile so bright, it'd be a crime to cause it to disappear.

"Hi!" He greeted.

"Hi."

They stood in silence for a mere few seconds before the mildly shorter individual spoke.

"Do you need something?"

'Hm. Usually people are a lot more excited to see me and don't need a reason to talk to me. oh well, nothing I haven't encountered before.' He thought, too chipper for the bland response he got to bitter his sweet.

"No♡" He rocked himself like a little kid happy to obey. He smiled sweetly.

"Oh... then why did you tap me?" The older asked hesitantly.

Jungkook felt disheartened at that question because when people asked him those exact or a variation of those words it sounded less...detached. Less uncomfortable - but Jungkook is a social butterfly and has interacted with so many people, he can pull anything from under his pink fabric-ed sleeves.

"I just came to tell you that your hair looks cute!"

"Oh...Uh, thanks I guess."

'How dry.
People are usually more responsive to a compliment. '

"I'm gonna go... if that's okay...?" his voice faltered as he spoke, already backing away and Jungkook just nodded and smiled as he waved him off.

Once he was gone, Jungkook sighed in disappointment. "That was a underwhelming." He mumbled to himself.

"I'll try again!" He said even more determined than before.

'Meeting him again would most likely indicate to him that I want to talk to him and that I have an agenda, which could frankly intrigue people or push them away in distaste. So naturally I would like to make our meeting serendipitous, coincidental if I may.' He thought.

So, with that thought, the best possible way to meet him again is by bumping into him. Making the world seem smaller and that this meeting was decided by fate! Genius!

Jungkook scanned the room, his eyes swiftly landing upon someone with a shiny, long mop of hair. He weaved through the throngs of people, returning their greetings while mentally taking note of them as potential pawns in his scheme.

Jungkook intentionally bumped into the stranger's shoulder, initiating the next phase of his plan. "Oops, oh hi! Sorry stranger, didn't see you there, oh hey, you're the guy from before!" He exclaimed, his words coming out almost instinctively.

"Uhm, yeah. Later."

Before the dumbfounded pink-striped coconut could respond, the shorter man turned away, deeming the conversation finished.
