my eyes flutter open, the man is gone, what happened? its dark now, how many waves has there been? what time is it? wher- sapnap... i had to look for him
i dove off the truck ignoring every part of my body telling me to not, i swam until i found ground where the water was only a foot deep, which was still bad but better than 8 feet deep
i screamed sapnaps name, i wouldn't stop until i found hi-
i was stopped by someone grabbing my arm, "sir are you ok? your bleeding" i was bleeding? from what? what had caused me to bleed
"f-fine.." i reply "sir ar-" i walk off before they could ask anymore questions
it was so dark, my entire body hurt, i had no energy i was exhausted and having to walk threw the water was even worse, it taking more energy than just normal walking, but i couldn't stop i wouldn't stop until i found him i had to make sure he was ok
my vision was blurry and my arm hurt incredibly bad and i just wanted to collapse but i didn't i slayed walking and i would walk until i found him i would walk until my body gave out
i wasnt about to lose the only man i love to stupid water...
w-wait what? love?
yes i loved him. that was the word i needed, love
i saw a hospital in the distance i decided to walk to it, thinking maybe they had lists of people who had checked in and sure enough, they did!
"e-excuse me ma'am," i said to the lady with the clipboard "yes?" she replied "is nick (lastname) on that list?" i asked "hm, no he is not but i can call other hospitals to see if hes there if you would like" she stated "that would be amazing if you would, thank you" i said back replying it was ok "alright, what is your name sir? and what is your relationship with the patient?" she asked so she could be more specific when calling "d-dream, and uh, boyfriend" i said hesitating
boyfriend? oh dream you really fucked up now
"ok dream now can we go sit down and get you fixed up? your head and arm look hurt, are you in any pain?" she asked seeming a little worried "uh- no, no pain, and thank you b-but i have to find him" i replied remembering i was bleeding, and that it was probably the adrenaline making me not feel it
"dream i dont think your in any position, to lo- i cut her off, not necessarily on purpose but- "thank you but i have to go now" i said
"ok well dream how about we sit down and you tell me what nick looks like?" she said realizing i wasn't going to sit down "sapnap, he prefers to be called sapnap" i say "ok well, how about you tell me what your boyfriend sapnap looks like?" she corrects herself "o-ok, hes 5'10, dark brown hair, brown eyes, hes wearing black shorts and a white tanktop, he had a hat on during the first wave i dont know if he still has it though and he was wearing checkered shoes" dream said with a hint of red in his cheeks
no one pov:
she reached for her walkie-talkie on her waist dream flinched a little at the fast movement making her slow down when moving, "(hospital name) on rode number 4004, we are looking for a male around 5'10 brown hair wearing a white tanktop and black shorts with checkered shoes, his name is nick (lastname)"
a couple minutes go by and the lady was able to convince dream to let her help him a little then he could look for sapnap again
immediately after the lady was done patching up dream which didn't take long, he jumped off the table he was previously on and started to walk away, she wanted to stop him and let him rest but she knew he only wanted to find his boyfriend
dream started walking again, he screamed sapnaps name as soon as he was far enough from the make-shift hospital, when he left the lady felt her walkie-talkie buzz
a hospital a mile or two had him, she tried running after him but she didn't know which way he had gone she grabbed her walkie-talkie off her waist and announced on it that she was looking for a tall male with dirty brown hair and dark green eyes wearing a black t-shirt and green baggy pants
dream was walking with a limp and was still screaming he was going to scream until he broke his vocal cords
"sapnap! sap where the fuck are you!" he yelled
he fell over onto his knees, he wanted to lay down and sleep he was even more tired than before which he didn't know was possible
a firefighter saw him and ran over, "hello? sir are you ok, can you hear me?" the man said in a calm voice dream looked at the man in-front of him the firefighter quickly realized this was the man the doctor was looking for, he picked up dream and had one arm around his torso and one arm going to grab the walkie-talkie on his shoulder
"this is firefighter diaz from the 118 firestation, *doctors name* do you copy?" he asked starting to walk off still holding dream up he could hear dream mumbling on about something
"copy" you could hear from the other end "i found the man you were looking for, tall and dirty blonde hair, green pants and black shirt right?" he said "yes that is him, please bring him to *whatever fuckin hospital sapnap is at*" after about 20 mins they made it there,
