Our Future and Past Selves

           <Finally Reunited>

Two small bright blue eyes flutter open. "Finally you're awake" Boruto sits up and looks to see his parents hovering over him. Boruto stands up. "Did it take me long to wake up dad?" Naruto smiles "A bit, we got worried there for a second" Boruto nervously laughs "Haha oops" Hinata grabs Boruto's hand. "Mom I'm not five!" Hinata shushes him "ah! don't say a word, I can't have you wondering around" Boruto rolls his eyes "Whatever.." Naruto laughs "Come on we just teleported right outside Konoha, I'm guessing Himawari is at the Hokage Tower with baa-chan"

They start walking, when Hinata breaks the silence "Dear?" Naruto responds "Yes?" Hinata nervously looks down "Do you think she met our past selves? do you think they know?"

Naruto stops walking, "I hope not, I don't know how our past selves would've taken that news, but she probably did" he starts walking again, Hinata sighs "Yeah she probably did.."

The Family walks through the old gates of Konoha, memories washing over them. "Oh wow.." Naruto says, remembering the old days. "Konoha looked so different back then woah!!" Boruto says, with excitement in his voice. "This brings back so much.." Hinata says, looking around the village. Naruto smiles "It really does huh?"

They arrive at the Hokage Tower, getting weird looks from everyone. "How can we help you guys?" a familiar grey-haired jonin asks. Naruto widens his eyes 'Kakashi...' he thinks. "We would like to see the Hokage" Kakashi looks at up, realizing they look way to familiar. "Is she expecting you guys?" Kakashi asks, getting a little suspicious. "Oh yeah definitely haha" Naruto says, laughing nervously. "Hm well alright, you just-" Naruto "No worries, we know, thank you anyways..Kakashi" Naruto walks past him, Hinata and Boruto following. Kakashi looks back at them. "How did he.."

"So did it work?" An anxious blonde said "I don't know, nothing happened" Naruto sighs "Are we ever gonna-" a few knocks are heard outside the door. "Who is it? is it important?" Tsunade says. A voice on the other side answers "Very" Tsunade looks at Shizune and nods. Shizune walks over and opens the door but not enough for the others to see who it was. "Uh Tsunade-sama..I think it worked" everyone raises their eyebrows "What do you mean Shizune?" Tsunade asks confusedly. Shizune opens the door fully. Revealing Naruto, Hinata, and Boruto.

Himawari gasps. "Mama! Papa! Nii-chan!" Everyone gasps "WHAT?!" Naruto looks at his future self "No actual way" They walk in, and Shizune closes the door. Older Hinata rushes over to younger Naruto. "Oh my! Thank god you're okay Hima! you worried me so much" Naruto widens his eyes "You're...Hinata?" Hina looks at Hinata. (so no ones gets confused, younger Naruto will be called Naru, and younger Hinata will be called Hina, the older ones just their normal names)

Hinata smiles "Yes, I am" Tsunade sits up, "This is very weird, so you are future Hinata, you are future Naruto, and you are..?" Tsunade says pointing at Boruto. Boruto puts his arms behind his head and grins. "I'm Boruto Uzumaki! Believe it!" Sakura laughs. "NO WAY HAHAH" Both Naru and Naruto look at her. "What's so funny?" Sakura looks at Hinata and Hina. "They really don't see it don't they? they are so alike that its funny!" Hinata giggles "Nope he doesn't" Naruto looks at his wife "What do you mean dear?" Hinata goes over and kisses Naruto on his cheek and giggles "Nothing honey"

Both Hina and Naru blush profusely. "Definitely not used to that" Sakura says jokingly. "I presume you guys were able to read our message?" Naruto looks at Tsunade "Yes, this whole thing was an accident, but don't worry we know how to get back" Boruto looks at Hina and walks over to her "So you're mom when she was younger? woah I've only seen dad! I guess you were always pretty mom!" Hinata giggles "Now now Boruto, I was very shy and timid back then" Hina covers her face.

Himawari jumps down and hugs Boruto. "Nii-chan! I was so scared!! it was all you're fault blehh!!" Himawari says, sticking out her tongue while hugging her brother. Boruto hugs back "Yes yes I know Hima I'm soooryyy" Boruto says sarcastically. Naru walks up to both of them. "Wait so in the future, I'm married to Hinata?" Naruto smiles and hugs his blue-haired wife. "Yes, and it was the best decision we have ever made" Hina turns bright red. "B-Best decision..?" Naru looks at Hina, also blushing. Naruto kisses Hinata on the forehead. "Yup, I love Hinata, she was the best thing to ever happen to me. Being able to have my kids make me even happier" Naru looks at them with pure shock and embarrassment. "W-Wow.."

Boruto rolls his eyes. "You love mom way to much dad! all you do when you get home is flirt with mom and its like you can't keep your hands off her!" Himawari giggles "Papa loves Mama!!" Hina almost faints. "WHAT!" Naru blurts out. Naruto laughs "Can you really blame me? your mom is just so beautiful" Himata giggles "Aw dear stop it! you are making my past self super nervous" Boruto sticks out his tongue "Yuck!" Sakura laughs "Wow lots of things changed in the future didn't they?" Tsunade grins "I would have never thought that the hyperactive knuckle-head ninja married the shy preserved Hinata" Naruto laughs nervously "Baa-chan don't call me that! I've changed!"

Hina walks up to Hinata. "After all those years?" Hinata smiles and holds Hina's hands. "Yes, we got our dream come true" Naru looks at them "Wait what? what do you mean" Hinata giggles "You need to find out yourself, Naruto" Naru raises his eyebrows. Naruto sighs "Well Im sorry to be the party pooper, but I think it's time to get going, I have a lot of important things to do, y'know being the ho-" Hinata quickly hits Naruto in the stomach. Naruto coughs. "Ahem, being an important ninja to the leaf after all" Tsunade smiles "It was nice seeing you two" They both smile.

Sakura gives them the scroll. She nervously looks down. Hinata looks at her. "Don't worry Sakura, you also get your happy ending" She says smiling. Sakura looks back at her in shock. "Bye mama in the past and papa in the past! I had lots of fun!" Hina smiles "Bye Himawari!" they both say. Naruto opens the scroll and writes "Future" on it. In a quick flash with smoke, they disappear.
