The playhouse🕯

(Chloe POV)🕯

I stared at him in silence until I said " Can you give me a few more minutes?". "Yea I'll wait out side,just come outside when you're ready." He said stepping outside. I waited until I was sure he was out of the house to quickly and quietly steal a t-shirt and shorts  out of the closet and unlatch the window, I climbed out of the window making sure to close it on my way out, then I booked it into the woods I didn't have a plan at the moment.

I ran until I approached an aged yet familiar playhouse, I hopped over the white picket fence surrounding the land and walked to the front of the withering playhouse and to my surprise it was my old playhouse from when I was a child, I gasped in excitement and shock, I crouched down on the porch of the rickety playhouse to make sure I don't hit my my head since I had grown a lot since I was last here, I tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge "ooh come on open" I spoke. I guess it hadn't been opened since I left, I put my left leg on the pale blue door and yanked the handle just then the door sprung open creaking as it opened, the door had knocked over a lantern sitting at the base of the door 'lucky me' I thought as I grabbed the handle of the small, rusty lantern and crawled inside. Surprisingly I still fit maybe not in the most comfortable way but I wasn't about to complain, I looked around for anything I could use to light the lantern after searching high and low I finally found a match, I scrapped the dirty match across the dirtied wooden floor and watched as the flame lit and brightened the playhouse, I lit the lantern and looked around to see if anything was left. While searching I had found a bunch of my forgotten, mistreated dolls "I was ruthless back then" I said with a tint of sadness lingering in my worn out voice, I sighed and put the dolls back and slipped into the clothes I had stole "I should have been smarter, I left everything at the mansion" I said and mentally face palmed I sighed and thought of Estella 'how was she already killing people?' I questioned I tried to do the best I could but I guess I was a waste since slender always yelled at me for gasping for air when I couldn't breathe from the hard training, I shook my head to get rid of the thoughts and laid down, "I have to go back a get Estella tomorrow I need to show her the playhouse" I whispered to myself as I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep

I left the room and went and sat on the front porch preparing to send her on her way back to slendy. I was playing with my gold strings until I waited to long I got up an went to the room "Chloe are you re-" as I opened the door I saw that she was gone I panicked and looked in every room, she was nowhere to be found I sighed and rubbed my temple "Never trust anyone anymore" I said disappointed, I ran out of the house and yelled for her while I walked the woods 'never doing a favor for him again' I sighed and after awhile I had gave up, I walked home and went to bed.

Next Morning
Chloe's pov:

I woke up with the sun shining through the fake window of the playhouse I resided in, I yawned and sat up listening to the birds chirp as I slip into my normal clothes "mission get Estella out without pale face getting in the way" I said as I crawled out of the faded purple playhouse and started to the woods (time skip.......because) I eventually got to the mansion and took a deep breath preparing for impact, I walked through the two big wooden doors and scanned the first floor but.. there was nothing, 'strange' I thought as I walked up the stairs and looked every witch way but again nothing until I heard a thud from Estella's room, I walked to the door and knocked "who is itttt?!" She said annoyed, I sighed "it's me Estella, it's Chloe" I spoke, then the door flew open with a shocked Estella on the other side of the small doorway "you came backkk!!" She said as she jumped and hugged me, I chuckled and pried her off of me "I need you to come with me" I said, she looked at me confused and concerned I sighed and spoke up "I found my old playhouse from when I was a child and I thought you would want to see it again since it's been ages, I promise you can come back here" she rubbed her temple and thought "fine, I need a break anyways" she laughed, I smiled and dragged her out of her room. We left the old mansion and made our way towards the direction of the playhouse.

We arrived at the picket fence and hopped over it "so, why did you come back? For me or for something else?" She questioned, I sighed in defeat "for you, and I realized I hadn't made a smart decision" I said turning my head to her and giving her a small smile, "it was quite lonely out here especially since the neighborhood is quite abandoned now" I spoke turning away towards the playhouse, she chuckled quietly and walked not far behind "wow, you were right, it's just as cool as remembered" she expressed happily I smiled and opened the pale blue door, I crawled inside with Estella following close behind. (Time skip...) we sat and talked about training, her first kill, how we feel, and just catching up on things "I'm tired" she yawned and layed her head on the window, i yawned and layed on the hard wooden floor looking up at the ceiling of my childhood playhouse thinking about life and how it can just change in a matter of seconds I sighed and closed my eyes waiting for sun down. The sun had gone down and Estella was still knocked out but me on the other hand I was staring out of the window wondering what was next for me in life until I heard sounds from outside, I snapped back into reality and woke up Estella "hey, wake up I hear something" I whispered while nudging the sleeping Estella "what is it" she said tiredly rubbing her eyes "I hear something outside" I said in a hush tone "it's probably an animal" she said rolling her eyes "shhh listen" I said, we listened and just as we were about to check we heard a knock on the door we both looked at each other in panic, there was another knock "come on out, I know you're in there" a voice said Estella calmed down when she realized it was jack (L.J) she opened the door and crawled out "hehe surprise" she said laughing nervously. Jack looked inside and saw me "well, well look at who we have here" he said giggling "what a wonderful surprise" he said I crawled out and rolled my eyes "yea I guess so" I spoke "why were you too out here knowing that you can't leave the woods" he said with a mischievous smile "I brought Estella out here to enjoy old memories before I came back" I said sighing and crossing my arms together he laughed hysterically and picked the both of us up and we disappeared into the dark mist he used to teleport, the world went dark as the smoke faded away.
