well, i'm not going to tell you.

just yet.

sorry for the let-down

you were probably expecting me to have it all in capitals for you, right?

thought so.

so I will leave you on less of a cliffhanger.

so yeah here's another word for you:

blood.

define blood.

most of you probably know what blood is.

and if you don't?

you've been living under a rock.

a very blunt rock apparently.

i'll define it for you again.

blood
/blʌd/
Learn to pronounce
noun
noun: blood
1. the red liquid that circulates in the arteries and veins of humans and other vertebrate animals, carrying oxygen to and carbon dioxide from the tissues of the body.

so it's essential to life.

without it, we wouldn't get oxygen.

that's the stuff you breathe by the way.

it works kinda like this.

in the same way, a car needs petroleum, we need oxygen.

it's like food for our muscles and stuff.

you eat chips, your muscles eat oxygen.

sort of.

you get the memo.

i mean it's not like your muscles have tiny little mouths that are constantly like 'FEED ME!'

that's not how it works.

it just happens.

your muscles don't have mouths, but they still get the food they need.

it's a bit confusing.

believe me, it was a lot more confusing in biology class.

so I dumbed it down for you.

and for me.

mainly for me.

so blood is important, kinda gross, but a necessity nonetheless.

but how do our muscles get food,

if they don't have mouths,

don't move around,

and don't ask for it?

well,

i mean,

ummmm...

i'll have get back to you on that one.
