"Once there was a Scholar, and A Mage...the Scholar loved the world around him seeking knowledge, what made things tick? Why is the sky blue? Why are we all here? The scholar sought these answers as he was naturally curious, the Mage even as curious as he was as well, also wise the two lived together in a small cottage in the forest, nestled quietly in a small lifestyle, The Two helped eachother in their studies and daily life, one day the scholar went to seek out the forests knowledge but stumbled upon an old hand mirror instead, 'why would such a treasure be out here?' The scholar thought to himself 'perhaps it's a magic relic I'll see what the mage will say surely he knows!' So the Scholar put the old hand mirror away and walked back to the cottage, showing the mage his findings 'Look dear!' The scholar said with wonder and delight 'I found this mirror in the woods is it alright?' The mage examined the mirror 'I'm not sure...' he shrugged 'it has dark magic energy however it's small enough it should be fine' so the scholar worked quickly trying to figure out everything he could about that mirror, when a voice from it spoke it told the scholar that it could give him infinite knowledge if he did as instructed, the scholars curiosity grew so he did as the mirror instructed, days passed the instructions more now demands the mage grew worried over his lover he decided to check up on him, but it was to late, the mirror was in the hands of the scholar as a dark substance grew over the scholar 'haha yes! At last finally a soul to feast on!' The scholar reached out for the mage 'please help me!' 'Scholar!' The mage cried out as the substance encased the scholar, the mirror's light  became dim and then nonexistent the mage scooped the scholar in his arms morning the loss of his lover"

"What happened next papa?" The young boy no older than 5 looked in the man's direction he chuckled "well Gaia...I don't know but it's just a story..." the boy teared up "that's a sad story papa..." he sat beside his son "I know my little bud, but you need to rest now..." the boy nodded "papa...will I ever loose you?" The man smiled "not at all Gaia...I will always be here"

-13 years later-

The town was busy "oh sorry, excuse me" groans from an elderly lady were heard "ugh Gaia... watch where you're swinging that wretched cane of yours!" The young teen chuckled "sorry miss everlee...come by the tea shop papa and I will treat you" she turned her nose at the offer, he sighed and continued to walk bad enough he stuck out like a sore thumb with his blue and purple hair, he also had small blue flowers growing around his eyes, Gaia sighed walking up the the small Tea and flower shop, the building was wooden giving a nice cozy cafe feel but a small room was dedicated to Gaia's pride and joy his plants the boy walked inside as his father was at the counter his grey and black hair shone in the light of the cafe, he put an apron over his white button up "Gaia catch!" He tossed his son's apron to him which he successfully (somehow) caught, he chuckled "thanks papa" he put his apron on and grabbed a spray bottle from the counter "thank you Cass I know where the spray bottle is" his father chuckled "hey Gaia try not to talk out loud to the plants today...miss everlee complained last time" the boy puckered his lips "miss everlee is a grouch" he continued to tend to his plants "today she told me not to swing my cane!" He leaned into the rose bush whispering to a flower "...and I also heard from her Begonias, that she said I am a danger to this town....me! A danger!" His father laughed "oh really? I'll tell the Begonias....", his father casted a curious look "what is it Gaia?" He smiled standing up and taking the broom "the roses say that her husband didn't know the difference between your common dandelions and Mums...so when he tended to the garden for her birthday he pulled up all the mums" Gaia and his father started to laugh, the day was like any other busy of a morning, and calmer in the afternoon just how they liked it,
His father smiled "Amber would be so proud of you Gaia...." He smiled "...really?..." his father nodded "yeah oh that reminds me...can you close up today?" Gaia nodded "of course papa" his father tuned the sign around and walked to the door "see you at the cottage Gaia" the boy sighed and sat behind the counter trying to move the flowers from his view but nothing became any clearer, He sighed and rested his head on the table finally closing the shop for the day he decided to do a few things before he got home

On top of a hill near town there was a willow tree, The boy sat under it "hello old friend....can you believe we've both been alive for 18 years now...crazy..." he leaned against the tree basking in what little life was left, he sighed but then he heard music, at the bottom of the hill he heard the tune "oh my fair lady despite our part, I will always be in your heart" Gaia smiled he had always been somewhat of a helpless romantic his father says he got it from Amber, "near or far land or see you are the one I long to be" The Flower boy sighed and stood up finally deciding to return the town wasn't as busy in the evening which made sense since they were a small quaint town, so it was unusual when someone bumped into him "o-oh im sorry!" He scrambled around for his cane when the stranger grabbed it for him he wore a dark cloak "no i should be sorry"

Once Gaia made it home he sat on the sofa "hey papa I'm home!" His father walked in "happy birthday Gaia!" He held up a cake with sloppy pink frosting and blue flowers, the boy smiled "go ahead and make my wish this year papa I'm tired..." his father put the candles out and sat next to him "Gaia...what's wrong?" He sat up "...its nothing papa I'm fine..." he leaned on his father "papa...read me that bedtime story again...please?"His father smiled "okay..." his father took out a book and cleared his throat

"once...there was a scholar...."
