night and day
sun and rain
dark and light
black and white
and yet...
in the darkest night, the brightest stars shine
in the brightest day, the darkest shadows are cast
there is always light in the dark, always darkness in the light
there will always be good and bad, wax and wane
black and white, sun and rain
so listen closely to my words:
when the sun is shining, bask in it's warmth
so that when the rain comes, you can embrace the storms of your life,
and know that everyone, even the world, has sad days too,
but the sun is always shining somewhere
in your heart, perhaps,
or with someone else
but you will find it
because life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,
so i dance in the rain, fearless
and when i can't find the sunshine, i become the sunshine
remembering that no matter how tall the mountain is,
i am brave and if i have to stagger through darkness, so be it
but the mountain can not, will not, block the light
because you just have to rise above the storm of life and you will find the shine,
you just have to keep believing...
and i find peace in the rain,
as i sway to the rhythm of heaven's tears,
falling... falling...
as i let the rain wash away the pain of yesterday
'cause i want to see the sky smile,
so i look at the sunny side of everything,
and i enjoy life through and through, because...
you... i... only live once.
so, when the sun is shining, i let its warmth, its radiance, envelop my soul
so that when the rain falls, i shine, and spread the warmth,
like the first rays of sunlight piercing through the clouds,
like the glow of the sunrise after the long dark night,
when i lift my chin from the ground,
face the sun, i let the shadows of the past fall behind me
and so can you
so remember, there is...
dawn and twilight, day and night.
clouds and wind, sun and rain,
dim and bright, dark and light,
shades of grey, black and white.
another poem, this time from my archives. this is from a while ago, so it's not as good as my work now, but i still published it because i think it's really inspiring
the basic theme of this poem is nothing is black and white, there's always shades, so don't leap to conclusions about things. and to look for the bright side of things, to embrace the small evils because they all form the greater whole of something amazing
so yeah...
it's up to you how you interpret things though
i'll see you soon with another poem, and thank you to everyone who read, voted, commented, and added my book to their reading list!
