Chapter ?~ The Crash

Brennen and you were leaving a wonderful picnic Brennen made at the Santa Monica Beach. We went into his truck and he drove off going about 2 times as fast as the speed limit said. You told Brennen to slow down a little bit but he decided not to, you were getting nervous and you were reminding him to slow down. He then passed a stop sign you then told him that he passed but he didn't care. You guys go to a red light but he was about to pass until a red Honda crashed into you guys. You blacked out hearing whispers and you couldn't move a single muscle but the only thing you could do is breathe. You got waken up by a brunette nurse holding your hand, she asked if you knew Brennen. You told her that he was your boyfriend she gasped and looked into your eyes, she said that when Brennen and you got hit by the car, the car hit Brennen first on his rib cage which made him suffocate on his breathing. She told you how Brennen's foot broke by him pressing hard on the brakes (if that could even happen I'm not fully sure). While she was telling you the whole story you were crying in pain, hurt, loneliness now, and the biggest thing now is fear because he was always the one to protect you since you had nobody. The nurse left and you were just in your bed sobbing your life out, you beeped for a nurse and when she got there you asked if you could see him. She said you could but you would have to be in a wheelchair, you agreed and she got a wheelchair from the closet that was beside the bathroom. You used all your strength to get up but you couldn't. The nurse helped you and you took little steps to the wheelchair, you were stumbling but luckily the nurse caught you. You kept thanking you as she helped you, she asked if you needed anymore help you said no then she told you Brennen's room number. You roll yourself to the room and see a bunch of machines around him, you start to tear up, you roll over to him and grab his hand and gently squeeze it. You didn't squeeze to hard because you knew his body was fragile. You sob onto the side of the bed hearing little beeps over and over, you sob and sob until you decided to leave. You start leaving until you hear those little beeps turn into one long beep, you panic and yell for a doctor, a women walks in and sees Brennen, she also calls for a doctor. She takes you back to your room and tells you to get some rest, when she left the room you cry yourself to sleep. The next morning you wake up to see Brennen's family all around your bed, you also see the nurse beside you. She said that she has bad news and she wanted to tell everybody st the same time, she said that since Brennen was having problems breathing and had really bad injuries he died at 3:28 in the morning. You cry more and more when the memories of you and Brennen being together, the way his soft pink lips touched your plum colored lips, the feeling of somebody that actually cared for you that died hurt you so much. You thought you could never be in love again since your actual lover died, on a very special day............................ ...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................your guys's anniversary.
