Chapter 5

Pov Anthony
I drove her home and we sat in the car for a little bit listening to the radio.

Another little girl was kidnapped and found in the river. People are so stupid to throw the body in the river. I mean, if you have to put the body somewhere, put it in the ocean. Its common sense.

"Do you want to come inside?" Josephine asked, startling me out of my thoughts.

"Sure," I said. "And I'm sure Dori will be happy to see us."

She laughed. "Especially you."

When we walked in the door, her dog started wagging her tail and panting excited to see us.

"Hi, baby. How's my sweet girl?"

The dog started freaking out and when Josi sat down on the couch, Dori climbed all over her, licking her face. She really loves her momma.

"Hi Dori." When she heard my voice she turned her head and jumped on me. I laughed, "Is she ok?"

Josephine laughed, "I don't know."

"Ok, well I should go now..." I said.

"Aww, really? Ok well I had fun tonight. Thank you."

She got up and walked me to the door.

"No problem. I would do this anytime."

Josephine blushed and I laughed.

"Can I do something?" I asked, then I leaned in and kissed her.

Dori then started howling and we broke apart laughing.

"I don't think she liked you kissing me," Josi said.

"I think you're right. Ok well I should get going now or Ian's going to think something's going on," I grinned.

"You're right. Tell him I said hi, ok?"

"Ok. Good night," I said with a peck on the cheek and Dori growled. "She's not ready for that."

She smiled and I walked to my car.
