I wish upon Destiny Ninja

Introduction

My name is Heroine, and every single day is the same for me. It's kinda scary actually, how I do the exact same thing every single day. I get up, shower, go to school, go home for a snack, go for a walk, meet my friends during my walk, hang out with them, go home, eat, sleep, repeat.

I wish there was some kind of change to that. It's been like that for the past several years. Not that many years ago I downloaded this app called shall we date?: destiny ninja. I go on it all the time and I just can't get over it... My friends bother me about it, saying I need to find a real guy but if don't exactly adore the men in our school.

Today is New Years Eve and I'm going to a party at my best friend's place. She never invited me to one before but this time I get at least some kind of change. I showed up at my friends house and she greeted me at the door, "Heroine! Glad you could make it! Every year at this place is so boring by myself and no teens my age." She huffed.

I giggled and said "Thank you for having me, Hinata! Where is everyone?" "They are all downstairs, come!" She grabbed me by the arm and rushed downstairs. Hinata is always so hyper and cheery.

That's one reason why she is my best friend. We talked and sat on the couch for a while until the count down. We all stood up and started yelling

"10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1, Happy New Years!" The adults drank alcohol while the teens just had a soda. We all got on our knees and gave our New Year wishes. We stood up and Hinata and I went to her room. We both sat down and she asked me leaning in closer with a twinkle in her eye

"So... What did you wish for?" I averted my eyes and tried to find an excuse, I said "u-ummm... I-it won't come true if I tell anyone!" She sighed and said "... And here I thought we told each other everything... Well, I wished for a hot guy moving into our school and only having eyes for me. Kinda greedy but man, that would be the life!"

I laughed and nodded "I wouldn't expect less for you." "Now it's your turn, speak woman! Speak!" I sighed and said in a hushed voice "alright but promise not to tell anyone, and please, PLEASE! Do not laugh at me?" She nodded and I took a breath.

"I... Want to meet the characters off of destiny ninja." The room grew silent but her facial expression was trying not to laugh. I stood up and said "I knew it! Your trying not to laugh at me!" "N-no! O-ok well maybe but it's so funny because you can never meet fictional people.

It's impossible Heroine." "Ugh... I know that... But I just wish it could happen, even though I know it won't..." "Don't worry heroine, I won't tell a soul about this... So don't tell mine, ok?" I laughed and nodded.
