They also told me happy valentines day and that they all confessed their feelings... All but one person was there... "Where is Hyosuke?" I asked. Kazemasa answered "this morning someone was being awfully loud, thumping around... After that the door shut so I assume that was Hyosuke leaving." I'll be able to see him later. My heart skipped with joy as I thought about him. I left the house and went to school. Class after class felt like it was getting shorter and shorter... I couldn't get Hyosuke off my mind... I was called on many times and when I usually know the answer... Today I just said 'huh?' And the class laughing. I didn't notice but also didn't care... School finally ended and I decided to take a walk and clear my mind. How is it that he's always on my mind? No matter what I'm doing... I walked towards the ocean and walked along the beach. "Oooh! I don't know what to do! I can't get him out of my head!" I yelled to myself and ruffled my hair in frustration. Yeah... I love him... I don't want him off my mind but... It's hurting me not knowing what I should do about it... I had a dream that we would be together but who knew it could be so painful? I stopped walking and looked out to the sea. Is love like an ocean? From far away you can't even see where it ends. The depth and length feels endless. "Hahahah! What am I doing?" I laughed to myself and continued to walk. Minutes turned into hours and it the sun was about to set. "I should go home soon..." Just as I was going to go back home... I saw someone out in the distance at a picnic table. Someone familiar. I walked towards them and it had been Hyosuke. Fate? No... Not the time... He looks upset about something... I started to run toward him and I called out to him. He turned his body and looked at me with, not his normal cheerful smile but a serious straight face. When I reached him I asked "what's the matter? You look a little down... Add in mad." I sat at the table with him. He shook his head and smiled "Nah! I'm okay!" ... That isn't the same cheerful smile as I usually see... My heart throbbed at the sight of his fake smile. After he said that I said looking him straight in the eyes "no your not. Don't think that smile can fool me. I'm not as dense as I look." His eyes widened and them started to laugh. "W-what is so funny...?" I looked down embarrassed. "Hahaha... Anyways, Heroine... what are you doing out here?" Off topic but okay... "Me? I was clearing my head. A lot is on my mind right now." Actually, it's one thing... But it's really messing with me. "Oh, I see!" Hyosuke said with a slight chuckle. "What about you? What are you doing out here, Hyosuke?" "My mind went blank this morning and even though I was tired I left. I just came here..." "... Hyosuke... You've been sitting here for over 9 hours!" Just then- GROWL Hyosuke's stomache growled. "Heheheh... Come on let's get you some food." I took him to a restaurant and ordered him some food. "Your trouble... Especially for my wallet..." I laughed nervously while he shovelled food into his mouth and said "but you have to admit you love takin' care of me!" He held out two fingers, tilted his head slightly, smiled, and went back to eating. "I guess you could say that..." "Hm?" "Oh! Nothing!" I have to learn how to shut my mouth... After he are we started walking home when Hyosuke found a table and sat down. "Let's play a game before we go home." A game is on his mind? "Uh... Sure." I answered and sat down with him. "Let play truth or dare. No rainbows or chickens." "What? Why?" "Heroine, truth or dare?" Damn him... "Uh... Truth." "Did you play spin the bottle at the party?" He looks serious... Why does he want to know if played it or not? "Yes." "... Let's play spin the bottle." He said as he took out a plastic bottle and set it on the table and spun it. "Wait! I didn't get my turn! Also you can't play with just 2 peop-" just as the bottle stopped on me, he has sealed his lips on mine. "Mph...!" I grabbed his shoulders and tried to push him away but his lips did not move from mine. Not too long after his lips finally moved away from mine. "... W-why are we playing these games!?" I said looking down so my flushed face was covered with my hair. "Heroine. Truth or dare?" "I-I don't want to play...!" "Truth?" "Hyosuke! I don't want to play anymore!" I began shouting looking down at my lap. "... Last game, I promise." Why is he so eager to do this... "Fine..." "Heroine, who do you have a crush on." Ah, crap... "C-chi-" "no chicken or rainbows, remember?" "... You aren't playing fair..." My heart is going off like an alarm! I can't seem to settle it down. "My crush is... You... Hyosuke..." My head sunk lower as I spoke. I heard Hyosuke get up. I'm not surprised if he leaves... I heard the footsteps walk over towards me and stop by my side. "Heroine... Look at me." I hesitantly rose my head up and looked him in the eyes. He was slightly blushing, unlike me. I could tell that I was as red as a beet. "I love you, Heroine." It felt like my heart was on fire as soon as he finished his sentence. "I love you too... Hyosuke..." He slowly moved closer and once again our lips have locked. He had one hand on the side of my face and the other, holding my hand with our fingers intertwined. I am not sure how long we had been kissing but it had seemed like forever. Out lips parted and I said "by the way... You suck at playing truth or dare..." He laughed and asked "how is that?" "I didn't get a chance to ask you anything" we laughed together and walked home. Even though Hyosuke had just eaten, he once again ate dinner that was made. I was going to go to bed when I heard my door open and then shut again. I turned around to see Hyosuke with his usual bright smile. The only thing different was that he was blushing. "What's up Hyosuke?" "Couples should sleep together!" "Huh!?!? W-what are you-" as I was trying to find the right words, he came over and embraced me tightly and reassuringly. "Let's sleep together." I let out a defeated sigh and we both got into bed. "By the way, heroine. Do you know why I asked if you played spin the bottle at the party?" He asked hugging me from behind and whispering in my ear. "... To be honest, I don't. Why did you ask that?" "You said there was mostly boys there. You must have kissed quite a few." "Huh? That's what your worried about?" I giggle lightly "don't laugh! Of course I wouldn't want you kissing any other guy!" I smiled hearing that. "Hyosuke, I didn't kiss any of the guys there. Not even the girls. The bottle never landed on me." "... Huh? But you said you played it." "I did... Umm... A different version though... Everyone wanted to do the kiss one but Hinata's boyfriend would get jealous so we played a hug version." "..." The room went silent. I broke the silence saying "you were my first kiss... Also my first crush..." "Really? Hahah! Then I have nothing to worry about!" I turned my head to look at him but his face was much closer than I though it would be! It was only inches away from us kissing. We both blushed and leaned in towards each other. I'll love him forever... I never want to let him go... I want to stay like this forever.
