The next night is when we decided we were going to leave. I told my so called "parents" that I was sick so I could stay home and pack all day. Josh and Julia went to school and planned to pack as soon as they got home.
I honestly don't even know where to start or what to pack. I searched for a bag to put my things in and all I found was a medium-sized book bag. It'll do for now. I grabbed my laptop and shoved it in there. Who knows, I might need it. Oh, clothes! Duh! I am a such a blonde sometimes. I grabbed a few outfits and threw them in there, I made sure I had some scrappy ones and a few nice clothes, just incase. Some toilet paper? Might as well. Water. Canned/un-refridgerated food. Blankets, definitely. I really can't think of anything else, Josh and Julia should be home by now and my parents won't be home until later because of the stupid work party.
I threw on some shoes and a light jacket and started to head out. I decided I would print the picture at Julia's because I might need to show somebody on the way. When I got to Josh's house his parents were both yelling at him so I just walked in like usual because I knew nobody would bother to answer the door, I could be the cops but they wouldn't care. When I got in his mom hugged me and his dad gave me a disgusted look then walked away. I peeled Kathy off of me, Josh's mom, and walked up to Josh."You okay?" I asked
"He is fine, shut up and mind your business." John shouted.(John is Josh's dad)
"I'm fine Emm, come on let's go up to my room" he said, aggravated.
"Don't get her pregnant!" Kathy yelled towards us.
In Josh's room.
"I'm sorry about my parents""Don't apologize, it's not your fault that they don't know how to be parents."
"Yeah, still. So what all did you pack?" He questioned me.
"The necessities and my laptop. Let's go get Julia."
When we got to Julia's I knocked on the door and Josh went and hid behind her house. Her grandparents are really strict, they like Josh they just don't want him around their precious Julia. They let me in and I went straight to her room and told her we are leaving now. She grabbed her bag and told her grandma we were heading over to the park, she'll be back in a few hours. Not.
