Dream never contacted anybody about his looks. He couldn't do anything about looking like Ed Sheeran. What was he supposed to do? Say that he was body-swapped with this singer? Nobody would believe him. Nobody would believe this crazy shit spewing from Dream's mouth.
He was still Clayton. Clayton Ray Huff. Just with a different body. Ed Sheeran thought that he was now this beautiful blonde boy.. but the truth had gotten out about what he really looked like.
Ed Sheeran and Dream hadn't seen each other in a long time since Ed last departed. Since Dream said that he needed to contact Callahan. A lot of his friends had cut him off from how british and ginger he has become. His life was going downhill.
"Where is my son Clayton that I loved and raised? Who is this monstrosity?" He heard from whenever he tried to contact his dear mother.
"Where is the Dream I've been friends with since I was young? My best friend." He heard from Sapnap.
Sapnap and Dream remain friends no matter his appearance though.
BACK TO DREAM'S POV:
I miss my old looks. I miss my blonde hair. I miss my green eyes. I miss my American accent. I don't want to be like this.
Who's knocking at my door at this time..?
"Ed?!"
Ed ran inside, sobbing. "I'm ugly! I'm ugly! Why'd you post the old face reveal? Why.."
Ed sat on Dream's couch.

"Now you want to switch? Why?"

Ed Sheeran pulls out a gun and shoots Dream.
"E- Ed,,, why?!"
Ed Sheeran shoved his hand into the bullet hole and grabs Dream's heart— and eats it. Bringing back Ed's body and killing Dream.
