Jace was sitting around, being gloomy at the institute, when he heard it. It was an explosion, followed by giggles. He jumped off the bed immediately, and ran down the steps, or more like jumping. What he saw was quite a sight. Two pale, childish figures were stepping across the ruins of a wall. They both looked around ten.
There was a boy, now unhooded, that had ivory tresses and big eyes that kept on flickering between grass green and nuclear. He had a excited smile on his face. He looked like a warped version of Sebastian. The girl, her emerald green cloak draped around her bodice, had bright red hair with weird silvery streaks making it seem to shimmer whenever the wind blew it. She had odd green eyes that were clouded so it looked like she was staring off into space the whole time. A thick silver chain with an onyx jewel the size of her fist adorning it was laced around her neck.
Then, Jace noticed the weaponry. A silvery whip was coiled around her hand, and the boy was holding dual axes, swinging them merrily. "I LOOOOOOVVVEEEE your décor!!" She sung, strangely looking serious about the compliment, even though she just broke and entered. The boy nodded in agreement. "Oh yes, almost like home!"
Jace noted that they had childish voices, but their faces were quite mature. The girl slowly took out a long, black jagged sword from it's sheath on her back. It had silvery stars glittering at it's sides and hilt.
Phaeosphoros." Jace murmured. "But Sebastian has it-" A sharp laugh escaped from the girl. "Silly boy, he still has it! This is a different sword. A Morgenstern sword, but a modern version. Now, I want to play. What about you, brother Luke?"
The boy nodded eagerly. "Yes sister Simone." The girl grabbed two metal rods, with intrically carved spheres attached. They looked deadly. She lifted the one on her right and made tap. Ground broke slightly. She once again lifted it again. Made a soft blow. Deeper damage. She smirked.
She swung the weapon behind her back, leaving rubble in it's path. "Hmmmm. Are you Jace Herondale?" Jace looked into her eyes, hoping to see something of his Clary in them. All he saw was emptiness. "Yes." He finally murmered. A wicked smile played about on her lips. "Perfect. I wanna play." That's when she lunged at him.
As they were fighting, a deadly dance, Simone called out, "Why are you so hesitant, Herondale?" His eyes met hers. "You are a twisted, deviant.... contaminated replica of your mother, Simone." She flinched. "Contaminated? You mean my mother, as in the woman who left you?" She laughed. But it was a bitter laugh. Jace flinched back, but continued. "I know your name sake, Simone. Simon Lewis, he used to be a mundane. He was your mother's closest friend ever. He is now a vampire, a day lighter. You are named after a special person."
Simone shook her head. "Do not spoil my name with the mention of a vampire, Jace Herondale." But she was getting weaker. He knew it. As he was thinking this, Simone slashed his pinkie off. He yowled with pain. She smirked in satisfaction.
That was, of course after Isabelle leaped from the rafters and put the runes of containment on her wrists. A ring of fire shackled her. Her brother Lucian left for back up.
"You can not contain me! I am Simone Victoria Morgentern, the daughter of Jonathan Christopher and Clarissa Adele Morgenstern! I am the legacy of Valentine Morgenstern himself! I carry the blood of Lilith, Raziel and Ithuriel!"
Isabelle snorted. "I doubt your status and title will sway the jury." Simone looked astounded. "Jury?! My brothers will come for me! My father will! May god curse you all!" Screaming as she was dragged to the silent city.
