the only type of light my eyes adjust to now whether it be on the red carpet, the operating theatre or a gunshot they seem to be the only ones I see these days. So, when I step out of the car that had been sent to my house to transport me to the premiere of my newest movie 'f9' I was not surprised to be met with the flashing of camera lights.
I walked the carpet in my pretty pink dress that was custom made for this exact night, taking pictures with the cast, my husband, f1 drivers and all other people who had been invited to this grand event.
when we finally got into the theatre, we all stood around talking before the lights started to flash above us to announce the beginning of the movie, we all made our way to find our seats in the theatre I was seated on the front row between Paul and Tyrese [bad idea] and we waited for the lights to dim and that first car to appear on screen.

the movie ended and we were met with a huge round of applause from the whole cinema of critics,press,othe actors and many other people that worked in the industry. we gratefully accepted the praise and answered a few questions whilst stood on stage looking like we should be a the ritz. I've spent 17 years in the industry now and I'm still not used to the glitz and glamour that comes with the job and I was somewhat grateful when I walked into the bathroom of the cinema to change out of the glamour and into, what the designer called it, my 'stealth' outfit to go and do the mission I had been assigned through my ear piece halfway through the movie [yes this is my life, I know].

I walked off the top of the empire state building safely attached to a wire to stop me plummeting to my death, I quickly walked down the side off the building just stopping shy of the 19th floor when I see on the other side of the glass staring blanking out to the city, the man I had waited many years to defeat.
