--3rd Person--

The night Tony had nightmares, nightmares that had been plaguing him for the past six months, since the battle of New York. Reign grabbing the missile, him locking her out to protect her, going into the portal, seeing space. It was on a constant repeat in his head. He had this overwhelming feeling to protect the two people he couldn't live without. Pepper woke up.

"Tony. Tony!" she called trying to wake him up. She gasped when she was grabbed and pulled off him by mark 42 suit. Tony woke up to what was happening.

"Power down." he ordered and the suit did just that. Tony then broke it down into pieces.

"I must have called it in my sleep. That's not supposed to happen. I'll recalibrate the sensors. Can we just...just let me." Pepper had scrambled off the bed freaking out of what just happened

"Just let me catch my breath. Hey, don't..don't go. All right? Pepper."

"I'm gonna sleep downstairs. Tinker with that." She left the bedroom. Tony calmed down.

"Jarvis activate, miss you." The window screen fuzzed a little then a live feed of Reign sleeping.

"She looks so calm doesn't she?" he commented standing up. "You'd never believe I messed her up."

"How so sir?"

"I've put her in danger, by being who I am and dragging her into it. If I hadn't of figured out how she locked me out she would have gone into that portal and might not have been so lucky."

"Miss Reign. Miss Reign, there is an emergency." I shot up and looked around

"What? What's going on?" I question

"Mr Hogan has been involved in an explosion. He is on his way to hospital now. Your father is on his way to come get you"

"Shit." I changed and tied my hair up. I grabbed my things an ran downstairs and outside to meet him. He just pulled up and I slipped into the car.

"Do we know what happened?" I wondered

"Only that he was at the Chinese theatre for some reason and he survived by being behind a food cart. He's in intensive care. I've ramped up security around him." I nodded in understanding. We arrived at the hospital and found out which room he was in. It was only hours ago that I was berating  him for being overzealous. I sat on my Dad's lap as we watched over him. At some point I had fallen asleep, I woke up to my Dad talking.

"Huh?" I mumbled waking up and rubbing my eyes. He was talking to a nurse. I stood up and yawned "What'd I miss?"

"I was just telling her the Sunday night's were Downton Abbey. One more thing. Make sure everyone wears badges. He's a stickler for that sort of thing, plus my guys won't let anyone in without them. Come, honey." I took his hand and we left I slipped on my sunglasses as we made our way out the hounds of the paparazzi.

"Mr Stark. Miss Stark." Dad wrapped an arm around me "Our sources are telling us that all signs are pointing to another Mandarin attack. Anything else you can tell us?" Dad opened the door and i climbed in and over to the passenger seat.

"Hey Mr Stark when is somebody gonna kill this guy? I'm just saying." someone questioned and Dad turned around.

"Is that what you want? Here's a little holiday greeting I've been wanting to send to the Mandarin. I just didn't know how to phrase it till now. My name is Tony Stark and I'm not afraid of you. You're a coward and I've just decided that you died, pal. I'm gonna come get the body. There's no politics here. It's just good old fashioned revenge. There's no Pentagon just you and me. And the off chance you're a man here's my home address. 10880 Malibu Point. 90265. I'll leave the door unlocked. That's what you wanted right? Bill me." he got in and we drove away.
