Hanahaki disease

Shortly, hanahaki disease is a fictional disease from Japan. One person falls in love with another person but the second one doesn't feel the same. The first one becomes a victim to the hanahaki disease. The victim will throw up or cough up petals. Even more simple? If someone's love isn't returned that person doesn't only have a broken heart but also throws/coughts up petals or even whole flowers since their lungs are filled with flowers. One way to get ride of this disease is love. If the person who that didn't return their feelings suddenly does,the disease disappears. Tho it has to be genuine love and not friendship. 

Another way is surgery. That surgery will remove the flowers from their lungs. 

If none of those ways are possible to be fulfilled then the victim has to suffer a suffocating death. Their lungs will fill up with flowers until they can't breathe anymore.
