newborn"Baby we're home," Jade called as she used her foot to hold the door open, letting Leigh-Anne enter over the threshold into their home.
"Mama! Mummy!" Perrie squealed happily and ran over, stopping still in her tracks when she saw the two babies in Leigh-Anne's arms. She gasped and started to take tentative steps, walking over slowly, peering at them cautiously and then smiling. "They my babies. I a sister!" she whispered and then looked up at Leigh-Anne and grinned.
"They are. This is Hailee, and Harrison", Leigh smiled and bent down so she could look properly, careful to keep hold of them properly and support their heads.
"Pez if you can be a big girl and go and sit on the sofa, then I promise you you can hold them both!" Jade smiled and stroked the blonde's hair. Perrie gasped and ran over to the sofa, sitting down properly in it and wiggling all the way back as instructed to by Jade. She let her mama move her arms to hold them out properly for the two babies and then let Leigh-Anne place Hailee, and then Harrison into her arms. Perrie just looked at the small babies with an open mouth, getting used to the weight of the two infants in her arms, in awe of her two new baby siblings.
"Hailee gon' be my bestest friend", she whispered. "An and Harrison gon' be my games player!"
"Yeah?" Jade smiled and stroked Perrie's hair, sending a happy smile over to Leigh-Anne as they watched their first baby hold the two newest members of their family.
"Are you happy babygirl?"
"So so so happy mama", Perrie grinned and nodded, not taking her eyes off of the twins. Leigh smiled and snapped a photo of her girls before bending down to them and kissing all three of the baby's heads and then Jade's lips.
"My girlies. My little family." Perrie smiled up at them and then leant froward, gently kissing Harrison's and then Hailee's heads.
"I love them so so much Mummy. Thank you", she whispered.
"Oh baby you don't need to say thank you, but that's so cute, and you're welcome", Leigh cooed and looked up at Jade with a pouty lip, pretending she was melting from cuteness.
"Aww", Jade giggled and stroked Perrie's hair. "My teeny babies. Are you going to be a good big sister Pez?"
"The bestest. Bestest baby sister", she said firmly, still grinning down at the babies.
"They're smaller than you are princess", she explained with a fond smile.
"I still da baby."
"Sure babygirl, sure thing", leigh-Anne nodded, gently taking the twins and sitting to one side to feed them both. Perrie went to get the card she'd made earlier that day with Anne-Marie. The two caregiver's may have been shocked at Leigh's water breaking two weeks before her due date, but they'd been prepared with getting Perrie a sitter. They'd already thanked Anne-Marie and she'd left quietly, leaving the family to have their time with the new editions. Perrie sat down with her legs crossed infront of Leigh-Anne and dragged Jade to sit down besides her.
The blonde proudly held up the front of the card, which had a picture of two babies drawn on in the best way her little three year old mind could manage. She started explaining how that was Harrison and the other was Hailee, before opening the card. "Mama read it?" She passed it to Jade and then sat in the older geordie's lap. Jade nodded, expecting it to be some cute little scribbles but smiling widely when Perrie opened the card to reveal writing down in Blue felt tip. Proper, legible words. It was obviously Perrie had traced Anne-Marie's writing, but the fact she'd even tried jade Jade's heart burst.
"To mummy and mama and my baby brother and sister, I am so so excited to meet you both. Thank you so much mummy and mama for giving me baby siblings! I love you lots and I hope I make you super duper happy. I promise I will share my toys and be the best sister in the world! Lots and lots of love, Perrie xxxxxxxx P.s. if you ever get sad, you can cuddle Ruby my bunny!" "Awww," Jade cooed and pressed a kiss to Perrie's head. "Thank you baby, that's so sweet. And I love your writing! Such a clever girl!" Perrie just giggled and blushed, cuddling into Jade.
"You like it?"
"I do!" Jade nodded and gave her another reassuring squeeze. "The twins are so so lucky to have such an amazing sister. Are you excited to watch them get bigger? It won't be long before they can play with you sweetheart! You just have to be super patient."
Leigh nodded at the same time as Perrie and smiled as their blonde baba moved from Jade's lap to sit besides her Mummy and the twins on the sofa. "I hope they like me," Perrie whispered. "They'll love you baby girl."
"How you know Mummy?"
"Mummies and Mamas know everything!" Leigh teased but then smiled reassuringly. "Because I don't know how they couldn't. They're so lucky."
"Thank you mummy," Perrie yawned and smiled.
"Go on baby, let mama put you to bed. You can have more twins cuddles and some mama and mummy cuddles in the morning. Sweet dreams little one," she kissed perrie's head.·͙*̩̩͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩̥͙ ✩ *̩̩̥͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩͙‧͙ .

7 weeks
I sighed and climbed out of bed for the fifth time tonight, at this point, I was just debating sleeping whilst standing up. Leigh groaned too, stretching out. Our babies were poorly. Hailee and Harrison were seven weeks old now and coming on brilliantly! Perrie had loved having little ones around but was still getting used to sharing. With the babies being fussy and poorly the last few days, they've needed a lot more love and attention, which means Perrie has been super fussy. Having tired mummies means not getting everything she wants. We've tried and given her everything she needs but cuddles are being interrupted and she's just struggling and I felt awful.
"Can we just sleep with them in bed with us?" I heard Leigh ask, taking Hailee out of her basket.
"Screw it, why not," I sighed, getting Harrison and climbing back into bed. Leigh did the same, getting ready to feed Hailee and I sighed, letting sleep take over me."Mamaaaa?" I heard the little cry over the monitor and almost immediately Hailee started to fuss in Leigh's arms.
"Who is getting who?" Leigh sighed, I could hear the frustration in her voice and I felt so poorly myself, I think I was overtired.
"I'll get Perrie," I said softly, rolling over.
"She can't come here," Leigh mumbled to me. I sighed, I knew that. I just nodded and slowly walked down the corridor, rubbing my eyes.
"Mamaaa!!" I heard her cry again as I got to her door. She was there too, sitting on her bottom with her arms crossed.
"Why aren't you in bed missy?"
"I fwalled out!" She grumbled at me, sitting on her knees so she was taller.
"You fell out?" I asked, looking over at her bed, sure enough, her bars weren't up and I grew upset. "Did you put them down?" I asked her, walking over to it. She huffed loudly again, and I turned on her lamp. She was scowling at me and her arms were crossed. If looks could kill, she'd be a murderer.
"Woo forgetted! An ma, woo forgotten to wead me book an ma, ma my bottwe too," she grumbled loudly, stomping her little feet. My heart dropped seeing her face.
"I'm so sorry baby girl," I whispered, opening my arms.
"I no wan cuddle," she grumbled, moving away from me.
"Darling," I sighed. She turned away and glared at me with her side eye. I ran my fingers through my greasy hair and caught sight of the time on my watch. It was 4.50 in the morning. I didn't want to be doing this.
"Do you want me to get you a bottle now?" I asked her gently. She didn't reply, just huffed. "Pez baby girl, I'm sorry." I sighed. She huffed again and I was stumped on what to do. I sighed and walked over to her. I sat beside her and she went to move away but I grabbed her waist. She whimpered.
"Mama needs a cuddle," I told her gently, pulling her closer to me. I watched as her little eyebrows furrowed.
"Mama sad?" She asked, turning in my arms.
I nodded and pouted, "mama feels sad that she let you down." I explained. She lowered her head and fiddled with her hands.
"I no wan you be sad about it mama," she whispered back at me.
"I wish I could make it better for you princess," I told her.
"You just busy," she sighed. "I be okay."
"But you're our baby girl too darling. I know you got upset and angry and that's okay. Next time do you think you can come and tell us we forgot?"
"Come twell you?"
"Yeah love. If we forget again, you can shout us allll you like until we come. So we can look after you and love you the way you need it," I explained to her softly.
"But woo jus tiwed," she sighed, letting her shoulders sink.
"But if we forget, you're going to be super tired too because you won't sleep. And then mummy and me won't have anyone to cheer us up!" I giggled a little and cupped her cheeks. I lifted her head and pressed my lips to her forehead. "You're our little ray of sunshine and mama is so so so so sorry she forgot. We have to make sure our Angel is okay at all times, yeah?"
"I Angel?" She asked me sweetly. I smiled and nodded.
"The most beautiful little Angel," I whispered. She put her head on my shoulder and snuggled into me, sighing contently.I got her back in bed and snuggled up close to her. Her bed was ridiculously soft and man I was tired.
"Mama seep," I heard her whispered and her fingers caress my cheek.
"Mama needs to go help mummy," I whispered back.
"No mama no help when she tired," she whispered back. She sat up and grabbed her favourite, pink blanket and pulled it over me. She leaned over, switched off the light and then I felt her head snuggle into the crease of my neck, her arm wrapped over my chest and she held me close to her.
"Night night mama," she mumbled again, kissing my cheek. I smiled and snuggled into her.
"Goodnight baby."
