-Robin's apartment (10:24 P.M. April 22nd, Tuesday) -

Robin knows he should end this before he gets in too deep, but he just can't. He even didn't reach out for a few days, Finn just showed up at his doorstep. (Not like he was complaining.) Gwen even knows now, maybe this is what Billy meant about how he made his bed and now he has to lay in it?

Finn's just, well, Finn. He's never met anyone quite like him, or anyone willing to go to the lengths Finn has for him. Which is a little depressing since they only really have a situationship type thing going on.

Finn's ethereal in a way he hasn't seen, at least not for a while. Which is probably why he's holding on so hard, he knows Finn would run the second he came clean. He passed it off as Finn just being more tolerable than other people, but after he and Finn started showing more signs of intimacy, he knew that wasn't the case.

Even Billy and Griffin are starting to make fun of him for this situation he got himself in. Understandable, it'd be more laughable if he wasn't having to tip-toe to not slip-up when he's alone with him. He knows he can't tell anyone outside of the ones he's already told, he wants Finn to accept the fact they aren't just friends. It was made extremely clear when they had lunch with Gwen, he originally thought he was just imagining it till Bruce came into his work today in the afternoon and integrated him on his break.

He wasn't expecting it, but it was a little bit of validation he had been craving from his weird friendship with Finn.

He should be sleeping, but he also can't bring himself to stop mindlessly scrolling through his for you page. He loves zoning out and thinking about things that if he hadn't put his number on a cup could've happened. Maybe he could've gotten a normal date with someone.

On second thought, no. He doesn't really like people, Finn's just a weirdo who wiggled his way into his life. (Not at all what happened, but he can pretend as a way to keep a sliver of his dignity.)

He clicks the power button on his phone and places it on his night-stand, deciding on actually going to sleep.

-Robin's apartment (7:24 A.M. April 24th, Thursday) -

Robin has a few missed calls from Billy from around midnight, and a few texts saying he would like it if he answered the phone so he can complain. On-brand for Billy, but probably about Griffin having to work late.

He pushes himself out of bed and stretches, grimacing at the gross popping sound his arm made. His mind feels a little foggy, which doesn't make sense since he hadn't really done anything last night except reflect on his poor life decisions.

-Robin's apartment (11:11 P.M. April 25th, Friday) -

Robin agreed to work the closing shift, he feels a little regretful about the decision but he felt bad for the owner when she had to leave town because of a family emergency.

He sets his things down on the kitchen counter and opens his fridge to find something to eat, he would've grabbed something on his way home but decided against it tonight since there was very little left open.

He grabs some pizza Billy and Griffin had brought over when they came to hang out Wednesday, before his phone rings and makes him visibly jump. "Jesus." Robin mumbles, picking up when the called ID reads Finn with a rocket and alien emoji. "Ello, Love." Robin greets, doing a poor British accent. "H-hey." Finn replies, voice a little shaky.

"Hey, what's happening?" Robin asks, putting the pizza back in the fridge without grabbing a piece. "I-I, uhm, if I send you my location, will you come get me?" "Yeah, yeah, of course." Robin replies any ounce of tiredness he felt from the day gone.

He grabs his keys and asks if Finn wants him to stay on the phone, to which he replies with a please. Robin remembers something about Finn saying he gets bad anxiety when drunk, and that alone is scary not even including the regular anxiety Finn feels on day-to-day bases.

Finn's at the frat house he was at last time Robin went to pick him up, which is only about eleven minutes away with current traffic. He just lets Finn talk about a constellation once he calms down, not much different from the nights Finn spends at his apartment but this time he's not listening as much.

"Hey, Finn, baby. Can you come outside to the front so I can get you in the car?" Robin asks when Finn isn't talking. "Yeah, yeah, let me text Vance and ask him to find me. I have no idea where l am." "Okay, I'm about two-three minutes away."

Robin parks in the same fashion he had previously, Finn had sobered up at least a little from when he called Robin originally if his voice steadying out is any kind of a tell. Robin can hear Finn vageuly blabber about something to Vance before Vance goes "Okay, c'here give me the phone real quick." and mutes the phone call so Robin can't hear them anymore.

He guesses Finn was talking about something embarrassing and Vance is trying to save a little bit of his dignity. Fair enough raises concern slightly but he trusts Vance's judgment.

"Hey, I'm guessing you're here for Finn?" Vance asks when Robin comes up to him and the person in his arms. "Yeah, want help getting him in my car?" "Yeah, did he give you a heads up that he'd be going out tonight? Like I told him to." Vance asks, Robin replying with a confused face first. "Why would he tell me?" "I mean, you guys are dating? Or well not dating, but y'know?" "Yeah, not dating. Just yeah." "We're not?" Finn asks, eyes wide accompanying his face looking like he just ran over his dog. "Finn, shut up." Vance says, flicking him in the forehead and dragging him over to Robin's passenger seat. "Owwww, meanie." Finn says, rubbing his forehead. "I'm guessing his nerves calmed down?" Robin asks. "Oh, yeah. He was muted giggling when I came into the bathroom he was in. I could hear you talking and I un-muted it then muted it again shortly after. He was just doing one of his 'I love you' rants to me. He does them sometimes." Vance says. "Is he sober?" Robin asks, ignoring Finn asking for food from his car."No. He sobered up a little when we were coming down the stairs, not by much. But he isn't throwing up his guts, at least." Vance says, before saying he's gonna head back inside and telling him to get home safe. Robin says a simple you too before he loses sight Vance in the sea of young-adults.

"Come on, let's get you to my place." Robin says, sighing while he buckles. "Can we get Mcdonald's?" "Sure."

-Robin's apartment (11:42 P.M. April 25th, Friday) -

Robin helps Finn into the lobby, he's sobered up a decent amount but he can't stabilise himself completely and Robin would rather not having to make a trip to the ER. "Oh, hey Robi- Is he okay?" The typical secretary asks, gesturing to Finn. "Yeah, he's fine. Got a little drunk." Robin says, dragging Finn over to the elevator.

"Oh no." Finn says, swallowing hard. "What do you mean oh no, Finn?" Robin asks, clicking his floor number. "I'm gonna throw up." Finn says, clasping a hand over his mouth. "Can you hold it down for like three minutes?" Robin asks. "Uhm, maybe?"

Robin helps Finn through the door and helps him to the guest bath and holds back Finn's hair that's a little overdue for a haircut. It's not long enough to reach his mouth, but better safe than sorry. Finn sits back once he's done. He has some vomit on his clothes, not very much, but still gross.

"C'mon let's get you cleaned up." Robin says, helping Finn up.

He helps Finn get out of his clothes and into the bath. He starts to leave the room before Finn calls out to him "Don't leave, please." "I'm just gonna grab you some pajamas." Robin replies, not at all what he was expecting, but Finn's probably just worried he'll throw up again. (he knows it's a shitty rationalization, but he's still gonna use it.)

Robin sets the clothes on the counter and sits down by the bathtub, after kissing Finn's forehead. Finn mumbles something about how Robin's great and how much he loves him, Robin smiles, he knows Finn means it platonically.

Finn and he just have meaningless conversations till Finn tells him he wants to get out, he helps Finn out so he doesn't slip, and Finn quickly gets dressed and drags Robin to bed. Finn cuddles up to him, and Robin reciprocates and pets Finn's hair till he can hear Finn snoring.
