AMINA POV :
~THE NEXT DAY~
I was sitting in my room getting ready to go meet Rich's mom. I wore a white bodycon dress , my white Chanel purse ,my nude pumps . And wand curled my hair . I looked pretty , I wore no makeup I walked outside and it was chilly so I ran back in and through on my nude cardigan. I walked down to my living room and sat on the couch. My family walked downstairs.
"Where are you going all dressed up ." My mom asked .
" I'm going to go meet Rich's mom ." I said .
" oh, okay we'll have fun , and if you need us just call ." Said my mom . I then heard a car horn outside .
" My ride is here ." I said .

RICH POV :
I watched her walk out of the house and she looked beautiful. I can't wait for my mom to meet her .
" Hey bestfriend." She said once she got in car .
" wassup , you ready ?" I said noticing her leg was shaking.
"Yea .. I'm just nervous." She said .
We pulled up to my house and got out we then walked in the house and my
Mom and dad were sitting at the table . We sat down at the table.
" Mr and Mrs . Carter Nice to meet you ." Amina Said holding out her hand to my mom for her to shake it but my mom ignored her , so my dad shook her hand .
" nice to meet you too ." My dad said .
My mom started talking to me in Spanish
" ¿Por qué trajiste a esta chica aquí? que ni siquiera llevar el pelo real, y ella tiene en maquillaje. Me gustó el Trinity mejor. Esta chica es falsa ( why did you bring this girl here ? She doesn't even wear her real hair and she has on makeup. I liked Trinity better this girl is to fake .) " my mom said .
I looked at Amina and I seen the sadness and insecurity in her eyes .
"hablas español? ( you speak Spanish ?) " my mom asked Amina .
"sí con gran fluidez ( yes very fluently ) I think I'm gonna go outside for a minute, I need a some air ." Said Amina looking down .
I watched Amina walk outside and I instantly felt bad .
" MOM WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT " I yelled .
" I DIDNT KNOW SHE SPOKE SPANISH ." My mom said in defense.
" well , maybe you shouldn't be quick to judge people . For one , That is her real hair and she doesn't even wear Makeup. You don't know her mom! She is the best thing that has happened to me , and you just sat there and gave her attitude and disrespected her and hurt her feelings before she even greeted you . So if you don't mind I'm going to go on check on her ." I yelled and stormed out . I walked outside and Amina was on the porch with her head in her lap crying . I sat down next to her and cradled her in my arms while she cried .
" is it true that Trinity looked better than me." Asked Amina .
" Nah, Trinity doesn't look better than you . My mom was just being a jerk and judging you . Don't let what she says get to you ." I said looking at her .
" Okayy, I mean your mom has no reason not to like me . I was respectful." She said looking up at me .
" Yea, it's ok . My mom just - I don't even know how to explain it ." I laughed . She started laughing with me then my mom came outside.

AMINA POV :
I raised up out of Rich's arms.
" Can I speak to Amina alone." His mom asked .
" yes ." Rich said getting up and walking in the house .
" Amina , I'm sorry." Rich's mom said .
" No, your fine . Everyone is entitled to there own opinion." I said forcing a smile.
" but my opinion was wrong I was judging you be fore I even got to know you . We started off on the wrong foot but we can fix it . Are we cool ." She asked holding her arms out for me to hug her .
" Yes ." I said before hugging her. We went back in .
" is everything smooth ?" Asked Rich's dad .
" Yes." Said Rich's mom. We sat down at the table and they had already made our plates .
" Soo, Amina tell me about yourself ." His dad said .
" Well, um what do you want to know ." I asked .
" hmm. Tell us about your family what you wanna do in life what you like to do ." His mom said .
"Ok well I have a mom a dad and two brothers , I'm from Chicago-" i started .
" bang bang ." Said his dad . We all busted out laughing.
" I like to play basketball, and sing and rap . I really wanna work on my music career." I said .
" okay sounds like you have goals ." His dad said .
" Yea ." I said .
" hey , hey ,hey " said a unknown voice . I turned around and it was a girl .

RICH POV :
I turned around and it was Trinity . I looked as if she had two heads .
" omg.. What are you doing here ." I said .
" not happy to see me Richy ." Said Trinity.
" I mean obviously I'm not ." I'm said .
" who's this ?" She said Scrunching up her face at Amina .
" Um ... I'm Amina . Rich's bestfriend , and you are . " said Amina .
"Ha! Let me guess ..yall gonna be boyfriend and girlfriend. " Trinity said .
" What are you talking about I'm his bestfriend." Said Amina .
" Thot " said Trinity .
" Ima let that slide ."'said Amina.

AMINA POV :
All Throughout while Rich's parents were talking to me . Trinity kept mumbling stuff under her breath.
" So Amina if your music career doesn't work out , what's your plan b ." Asked Rich's mom.
" I will probably- " I started .
"Be a stripper ." Said Trinity cutting me off.
STRIKE 2
I cut my eye at her
" I will probably play Basketball." I said .
" always a basic Thot " Trinity mumbled .
STRIKE 3
" I'm becoming A better person, i'm becoming a better person, i'm becoming a better person." I meditated

If you guys don't know I have anger issues but I'm slowly getting rid of them.
" Okay , im going to leave . So that. I don't get disrespectful in your lovely home . It was nice meeting you guys ." I said. Hugging Rich's dad and mom.
" Bye Rich ." I said hugging Rich .
" woah , don't you need me to drive you home." Asked Rich .
" I mean if you want to but I can walk." I said .
" nah , I insist ." He said grabbing his keys and we walked out the door Trinity looked mad and jealous.

RICH POV :
We walked outside and got in the car . I drove past Amina's house .
" where are we going." She asked looking at me .
" somewhere." I said as I gripped the steering wheel. She just stared out of the window . I pulled up to the park .
" Amina ?" I said to get her attention.
" yea ." She said
"Do you have anger issues." I asked looking at her .
" yes." She said looking down .
" don't do that ." I said .
" do what ." She said .
" hide your face . But why didn't you tell me ." I asked.
" I mean I don't just say hi my name is Amina and I have anger issues." She said .
" But, you saying that like we just met . We been knowing each other for 4 years ." I said looking her in her eyes .
" I know man ." She said . I just looked ahead .
" I'm sorry ." She said. I just stayed looking ahead like I'm supposed to be her best friend and she ain't tell me .
" Rich , I'm sorry ." She said . I ignored her .
"Richhhh ." she yelled grabbing my hand .
" Mann what ." I said looking at her .
" I'm sorry ."she said
" ma... I really ain't even tryna hear it ." I said .
" you really mad over this." She said sounding like she was about to cry.
" Yes , Amina I'm mad !" I yelled.
"You supposed to be my best friend. You ain't tell me . I tell you everything, we not supposed to keep secrets. So bro , frfr I'm mad yes I'm fired up ." I said .
" I . Want . To . Go . Home ." She said .
" okay ." I said .
I drove her home and pulled up in her driveway I kinda felt bad .
" Amina , Ima see you later okay ? " I said . She just got out the car and walked inside .

AMINA POV :
" Soo , how did it go ? " my mom asked .
" good ." I said I lied .
" well, that's good ." My mom said .
Im went upstairs took a shower and Kaye's down on my bed when my phone started buzzing.
~ TEXT CONVO ~

I then texted back
Me : I'm okay Rich I forgive you .
Rich😘😘💦 : Thankyou . I got to go Trinity has to tell me something that she says is important.
