After weeks of travel the trio finally could feel the saplings energy growing near. Surprisingly fire was the first to sense it with his half dazed mind. The trees aura was distorted and hazy but they could all still feel and connect with it.
The closer they got however the more evident it was that something was wrong. The smell of burning cedar, blood and.. pomegranate seeds? Loomed constantly in the air only thickening the closer they came.
Soon the smell became overwhelming and eventually the pushed through a thicket of dead trees into a clearing where the "sapling stood" sapling was really underselling was this thing was
It was huge, almost as big as the great tree itself, the triplets gapped in awe at the huge plant sitting in front of them. It was huge and majestic
" is this... it..?" fire spirit wondered aloud, the other stared at him weirdly when his voice came out clear and easy to hear.
" what..? Are you surprised I can talk?... so this whole tree is just an extension of father.. amazing.."
fire continued to speak not phased much by the shocked stares their siblings gave.
" did he just..? Talk completely normally without slurring any words together?" Wind muttered, sea nodded.
The tree was on fire, huge red gems were imbedded into it looking like pustules infecting the trees twisted and darkened bark.
Fire started making their way toward the tree, the flames around the tree made them feel.. stronger, more energetic something he hasn't felt in a long while.
Fire gestures to his siblings to follow.
Sea has no real problem following after all she is water and the air wasn't hot enough to hurt her, wind on the other hand was sweating buckets his leaf hair was drooping and wilted looking and his energy left him almost immediately.
" wind.. are you alright?" Sea questions.
Wind shakes his head leaning against a near by rock. " just... give me a minute.."
Sea nods before catching up with fire spirit.
Fire stared in shock at the state of the sapling
No wonder their father was in so much pain.
Sea came up behind them placing her shoulder on his shoulder.
" hey! No worries we'll get this fixed in no time, dad trusted us for a reason!" She said smiling.
