"Hey! Y/n!" Y/n's eyes narrowed towards the voice of her fourteen year old boyfriend. The young avatar grinned at her brightly. Yes he saved the world, but that didn't make him a scary person to the point he'd get no girl, and y/n was the proof of that.

She wore Fire Nation attire, meaning she was from there, but trust me when I say she's harmless. As harmless as Sokka is without a plan and Boomerang. She sat atop a rock in the river doing her part of the tasks for the crew, since they were on vacation for the next three months! No fish caught the damn hook.

Aang sat next to her on a block of ice he made, his bright smile making her day sour. "No fish yet?" She shook her head, " unfortunately. " "Don't be upset, I'm here to help, okay?" Aang grinned at her, using his waterbending skills to manipulate the water! In a minute he caught over thirty fishes, and down he brought the sea creatures!

"Here y/n! Fish!" He smiled sheepishly , "too bad they don't match my taste!" Y/n smiled apologetically, "don't worry. I'll make you a fruit salad." " Thanks hon, " Aang gave her a quick kiss to the cheek, "you're the best!" "Hey Aang! Over here!!" Y/n looked back to see his ex girlfriend calling him over to help her with something.

The two made eye contact and Aang kissed her forehead getting up. "I'm just gonna help Katara light some fire for the cookout. Don't take it the wrong way, please." He knew the two of you didn't get along but he couldn't just get rid of Katara, she'd been with the group from the beginning.

[2nd Person POV]

Once he was with her, you turned back to the river and scowled at it as if it were Katara. You clenched and unclenched your fist and kept staring until you ended up crying from frustration. You sat there silently letting tears fall, and then you got up from where you sat and rushed off into the meadows a few feet away from the resort you were staying at. The flowers and grass were towering over your head so you could've easily hid.

When you got there you dropped yourself to the dirt where you landed softly, and you whispered to yourself, "I wish I wasn't so useless." What good were you if you couldn't bend? Everybody else was doing it. Even Sokka had a use as he was the man with the plan, and Suki's a warrior! What good were you to them? To the team? Your nose twitched and you sneezed. You wished you were them, all of them, especially Aang. He was gifted to do every element possible, the avatar.

"Y/nnn!" Aang called your name from afar. "Oh great.." "Y/nnnn!!" "He's already looking for me..." Aang was already done helping Katara and he immediately came searching for you right after. "She couldn't have gotten far," you hear Sokka say. Damn, well it seems as though the everyone was looking for you. You felt bad now because you ran, thinking yourself silly. As you were about to reveal yourself you felt a cold soft hand touch your shoulder. Immediately you thought of Zuko and attempted to shriek from shock but found it was only your boyfriend, who stared at you worriedly.

"Y/n! What are you doing here?" "I-I'm..." "Have you been crying?" Aang wiped your tears with his shirt and pulled you to lay in his arms. You did it without hesitation and he cuddled you close to him. "You don't know how much I envy you..." "Huh, why would you say that?" Aang replied quickly looking down at you with worry. You looked back up at him and shook your head as you cried, your tears going in your hair and dripping from there to his arms.

"Because! You're the avatar, Aang! You're strong and you're talented. You control all elements! You can control the avatar state, you're a spirit whisperer and you're just incredible at everything you do!" Aang smiled at you, "okay what about y/n? You're incredible too Y/n." The s/c girl shook her head. "Ohh no. No! I'm not like you..."

You frowned and looked back at the flowers. "You're right, you're not." Aang admits, "you're even better." He kisses your hands. "I don't know what you may thinm yourself to be, because you're nothing less of the fact that you are apart of Team Avatar, you weren't chosen for nothing and you are the best girlfriend any boy could ask for." You smiled and you both share a kiss. "Don't compare yourself with others especially when you're already literally perfect." He scolded you. Aang sits up and waits for you to get on his back. "Now that that's settled! Let's get something to eat, you must be starving!" You get on his back and Aang takes you to everyone else, getting you a plate of goodness by Suki.
