Just a bunch of hormonal teenagers, nothing to worry about here! Well, if these teenagers didn't carry such strong feelings for one another that'd be another case.

Your boyfriend Aang came to visit you as you were at home with your parents helping them sew clothing to sell. Your parents were both fire benders, and most of the time whenever they got their hands on you they kept you inside. Two things made them do that, fear for your death and shame, because how could fire benders just luck out like that?

The air was toxic because your father truly believed your mother had an affair and that was why you came out a non-bender, so he treated you half-assed. Like you were really his daughter. Making spending time in that house painful and depressing. When the door was knocked upon in a familiar cherry way your mother gave you a look, to which you just shrugged. "Is it Aang again?" She asked with a suspicious face. You nod nervously. You weren't supposed to be having any boyfriends until you were 18, that was an unspoken rule and Aang knew of this.

Your father got up and opened the door staring down at the slightly taller male. Aang rubbed behind his head full of hair that he didn't bother to shave at this moment. "Hi Mr. L/n! I'm here to pick up y/n?.." "What for?" Your father groaned. "My team and I are going to visit Fire Lord Zuko! He's having a party and she was also invited, personally from Zuko and myself as the avatar!" Your father looked back to your mother who looked away. "Alright." "Yes!!" You both cheered. You ran up to your room to change and came down eight minutes later wearing your best formal dress. You waved bye to your parents, your mother waved back and your father looked away. Once away from your home you and Aang share a tight hug.

"Thank you for saving me again."

"Hey, I'll always save you from everything no matter what it is. Don't thank me."

You both walk into Zuko's home surprised to see the rich noblemen and noblewomen! Some even seemed to be dutches/dutchesse or even higher ups of royalty! You felt underdressed and backed away to leave, only to feel Aang hold your hand tighter. "You're fine, don't leave."

He placed his hand on your lower back and pushed you forward. Walking into the room more every once in a while someone turned to wave at Aang who waved back and smiled. "See, no need to be self-conscious-" "Aang! You made it!!" Your smile immediately dropped seeing as Katara came walking over in a very beautiful long dress with diamonds on it. Her hair was braided and placed in a high bun and she wore light make-up.

The girl hugged Aang who released your hand and hugged her back for a quick two seconds before separating and holding your hand tightly again. Katara backed up and looked at you, she seemed puzzled. "Aang! Thanks for finally arriving." Zuko says coming in from behind Katara. He pats Aang's shoulder and Aang gave him a smile. "Where's Toph? And Sokka and Suki??" The Fire Lord shrugged, "Katara's brother and his girlfriend are at the table. Eating. The other one hasn't arrived yet." Aang nods and turns to you. "Are you hungry?" "No, not really." "I'll get you something to drink then!" Aang cheers kissing your cheek before running off like an idiot to get you some juice or water.

You stand awkwardly between the crowd of the rich and look for a spot to stay in the meantime. Everybody looked so in sync, including Team Avatar. What more could you expect from such important people? And then there was you.

You sighed to yourself and decided you'd stayed long enough, it was time to go. You looked for Aang to tell him you were leaving but found that he was engaged in a conversation with Sokka. Not wanting to intrude any longer you just exited the building, but that was a very bad idea.

[Short time skip..]

"Hold it right there!" A man yelled as he entered the building. The music stopped and there were gasps all around. Zuko came through the crowds to confront the party pooper. "To what do we owe your presence?!" He asked with a glare. The man folded his arms. "We're looking for the avatar! If you bring the brat out now we won't have to sacrifice this innocent life!!" He clicked his fingers and a woman walked from behind him tightly holding you from the back of your neck. You were now, a hostage.

Loud gasps erupted in the room and everyone looked on nervously. "Somebody save her!" A small voice in the background went. Sokka and Suki stopped eating and gasped too going to the front. "Oh no y/n!" Suki yelled removing from her pockets her fans. "You let her go!" The man shook his head. "Avatar first."

Everyone looked around muttering. Where was Aang? Zuko shook his head flustered and he approached the men. "As leader of the Fire Nation I order you to release her and hand yourselves in to the authorities!" "Oh yeah? And what if I don't?!"

"Hey, what's going on here?" Aang's voice came in from behind Zuko. He peeked his head over and asked next, "what's going on? Is everything okay?" Zuko didn't get the chance to explain because when Aang looked up to the man, and saw the woman holding you with a scowl he dropped the glass he had for you. The drink splattered all on the floor and pieces of glass flew in every direction.

"We should step away." Toph tells everyone. Team Avatar was quick to get out of there, Zuko staying back for reinforcements. "I SAID TO MOVE IT! YOU PEOPLE ARE SO SLOW!!" Toph barked just in time for Aang to go into the avatar state. He held his head trying to keep his emotions in control but his eyes were glitching from rage.

"Ah, the avatar! At last we meet-" Aang didn't allow the man to introduce himself. He grabbed him by his neck and yanked him down to size, his muscles showing through his clothes as they eventually ripped. Aang's fist was powered by wind as he knocked the wind out of that guy, sending him flying 15 feet out of the building. The woman was a water bender and she created a forcefield with an attempt to kill him by spikes, but when she sent the ice flying his way it immediately melted being just in 6 feet of Aang. Never seen things like this before she turned to run too but Aang grabbed her by the air and too her bending easily.

She fell on her back, her face looked like it lost colour and the woman passed out. Aang then lifted you by your head and stared at you with tears in his avatar eyes. "Oh y/n.." you stared up at him crying as well. "Why?" You asked him with a quiver in your lips. "You don't understand. You don't know how much I got to protect you." You blinked from confusion sitting up. "What? What do you mean by that?"

"I love you too much to see you hurt. I have to protect you no matter what from everything, because you're my everything. Y/n, I have the ability to do it. I can't waste it because what would be the point in having you as my girlfriend when I can't even protect you? So I got to." You wiped your s/c face and hugged Aang tightly, your h/t h/c hair brushing against his eye. He hugged you back rubbing you down gently, and the two of you stayed there until you both stopped crying.
