Alone

Chapter One

The name is Galilee Rose Jackson, this is my life's story. It was a cold afternoon my mother and father tucked me saftley away in a big basket next to it they carried a suit case, I was asleep when we left our house. I have vivid memories of this night, I then woke up feeling a cold wet drop on my head, I realized I was outside side in a big feild, I saw my mom and dad in the distance. I was all alone. Next to me was an old suit case, I then started to worry. I had cried and cried that night. A four year old little girl with Brown hair and baby blue eyes shouldn't be expected to know what to do when she is alone. So I stayed in my little basket and waited till morning. Woke up to the beautiful sunrise, and cold morning air. When I really took in that I was alone in a big feild with no parents, I had to do something, crying won't help. So I hopped outof the basket I was in and opended up the suit case laying between the wet wheat feild. I discovered in the suit case, a little blue dress, a pink dress, a nife, and a note it reads,
Dear Galilee Rose Jackson, we have set you down in this feild where we hope a strong women develops and lives life, you are a beautiful and going to be a great women some day. I honestly feel bad we have to do this. But when you got to be four years old you got exspensive and troublesome. I am sorry, but try your best to survive on your own. We loved you Galilee all we hope is that you live to grow old and find your reason in life.
I knew how to read when I was 6, so when I actually found the note I didn't know what the words meant. They were right, they never came back and I am developing into a young adult. I am fourteen, so I have been totally alone with no other human for ten years, I know its alot. But I have animals that keep me company.

"Oh little fishy, I won't harm you. Here I let you go free, you are still a little one." I love fishing, even though I don't eat any unless they are really big, the little ones still have a life to live, the big ones had a full life already. I don't fish off a dock or anything near the water I fish above the water in my little tree house in a weeping willow tree. The tree sits near the water and bends so far I have a little deck sitting right above the water, it is great for fishing. I hopped out of my tree house and splashed the cold refreshing water onto my face, and then braided my dark brown hair. When I was done with that I ran to my little house just a mile a way from my tree house. I got tthe front door and skipped inside, I went up to the table and ate breakfast today I had water with mint and lemon in it with wild berries and eggs on the side. I need to have good nutrition to stay fit, I really like to climb trees and run, so if I eat sweets like this thing called chocolate I might go weak or pass out while exercising.
Today is hunting day, I need to find food for the coming week. Hopefully I catch something special! But if I don't catch something extra special, fish or bear is fine to. Okay, I need to get my leather hunting dress on, and get my bow and arrow. Oh, I almost forgot my bag, my bag is what I put food in so if I get hungary I can eat, and I have bandages in it also. I put on my dress, got my bow and arrow and I finally grabbed my bag. Here I go, first I will go south farther away from town and then head my way back but I will go by the lake which meets up with the river and I will
swim back to my tree house. Although, if I catch something special I shall go to town and trade it for something I really need. Or even something just for fun, wow wouldn't that be cool. I have never gotten anything just for "fun" I wonder how it feels. I am now woondering if I have time to go hunting, it is already seven o'clock in the morning, it is not good for the sun to go down when you are not near shelter, there could be dangerous animals out there that could kill you. It takes about two hours to get to a good hunting area, so there and back is about five hours because the way back takes a little longer. Hunting takes four hours, and fishing takes two hours and if I find a rare and special animal going to town takes three hours. So altogether it takes around fourteen hours. I should get back around eight o'clock the sun goes down at seven. I am not sure if I shall risk it or not. Well I guess I should just do it, and hope to be safe.
