ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ 1

the h/c male jolted awake, his eyes snapping open. he's covered in cold sweat and he was shaking while looking around in his room. his heart was pounding from the dream he had.

he shivered as he rubbed his eyes and tries to fully awaken. "what the hell?" he mumbled, trying to comprehend what he had just experience.

It's been 9 years since the incident happened, and sometimes, Y/N still has nightmares about it. Whether it be about glass shattering or the sound of debris hitting the ground, guns firing and the cries of people; or that him and his family has made it safely, only to be met with disappointment as he was awaken by his alarm clock.

Y/N clicked his pen boredly, trying to push the thought of it down his memory. The sound of explosion hitting a desk disrupted him from his train of thoughts.

The h/c male's classmate, Bakugou Katsuki is arguing with the teacher for 'lumping him in with a bunch of extras', just like the usual.

Y/N glanced up his teacher as she threw papers up in the air, letting them all fall down onto the ground, all while exclaiming that everyone in the class was aiming to be a hero anyway.

The quiet atmosphere was gone in an instant as his classmate started to show off their quirk. One guy was wiggling his arms around like an octopus-- kind of weird if you ask me.

"Come to think of it, you're planning on going to the prestigious school, U.A high right, Y/N?" some guy behind him asked in a low voice.

"Yeah, I am. Why are you whisperi-" and right on cue, the teacher had brought up another popular subject, catching the attention of the students.

"Bakugou, you're planning on going to U.A high right?" the teacher brought him, cutting Y/N off his words.

Whispers and mummers can be heard throughout the class, some were doubting him while the others were cheering for him.

Bakugou proudly states that he would ace the exam and become the number one hero. His nose was high up in the air confidently until the teacher brought up another subject.

"If i remember correctly, Midoriya and Y/N, you guys are also planning on taking the exam, right?" the teacher spoke out, not expecting the amount of chaos she would have caused.

"Yeah." Y/N replied boldly while Izuku stuttered a little, accepting his fate as Bakugou immediately snap his neck towards him.

"Hah, what makes you think you could make it to UA?! You're quirkless!" Bakugou stated loudly. Then, he turned his attention towards Y/N.

"You! Don't get all cocky just because you have a powerful quirk! You'd better believe I'll destroy you!" He pointed his finger out to Y/N and scoffed.

Y/N could feel his veins popping.

"Hah, What did you say?!" The h/c male retorted back, standing up and knocking his chair down in the process.

Y/N and Bakugou, both known as the troublemaker in school. Bakugou would fight anyone while Y/N would only fight back once someone talks negatively about him. Both was known in school after that incident.

"Y/N, stop it!" Izuku's voice could be heard, he was struggling to get the h/c male off a certain blonde's body.
