After the incident, many of the spectators had gone home. Meanwhile, Izuku had went off first without Y/N leaving him and Bakugou behind.
There was a heavy silence since neither of them spoke first, both too stubborn. There were no explosions nor shouting, and theres very little movement; aside from the people who was cleaning up the mess in the area and cars driving by them occasionally.
Silence. Although it supposedly meant nothing could be heard, it was still loud and clear to them, as if you can hear a pin drop.
Bakugou sighed heavily through his mouth, running his hand through his hair. He looked as if he wanted to say something, but his throat and pride stopped him from doing so.
"You wanna say something, brat?" Y/N asked, getting impatient. Bakugou snapped his head towards him, his expression looked like he'd seen a ghost.
"Brat? You better watch your mouth, jerk!" he retorted back, pointing his index finger at the H/C male that was staring boredly at the clouds.
Just as Y/N was about to turn and leave, Bakugou stopped him from doing so.
"Hey, wait!" Bakugou called out, stopping Y/N in his tracks. He turned his head towards the blonde, his gaze never leaving him.
"Spit it out already, I don't have all day." the E/C talked back, pressuring Bakugou. The said male squeezed his eye shut, as if that would save him from any embarrassment.
"Don't think I saved you because I was worried or anything, I only did it so that you'd owe me back in the future!" he shouted out before running away to the opposite direction, the place where Izuku had gone off to, probably going to say the same thing to the greenette.
Y/N couldn't stop him in time, so he was left there with his eyes wide and mouth gaped, hand reaching out to the place where Bakugou was previously at.
He was in the exact situation Bakugou was, his throat and pride stopped him from saying it to save his pride.
He wanted to thank him.

Y/N sighed as he opened the door to his house, the smell of freshly cooked dinner quickly filled his nostrils, making his stomach growl.
'I didn't notice I was this hungry, the adrenaline rush probably made me forget.' he smiled, taking off his shoes and placing it messily on the rack before running to the kitchen.
"Look who's back!" the voice of a female called out, turning her head to the said male. She chuckled after seeing his hungry expression, eyeing the freshly served food on the table.
"I'm back, mom." he smiled, excitement in his tone.
His mother, Yu Takeyama, also known as the No. 23 in the ranks of the pro heroes; Mount Lady, had took him in after the event that happened 9 years ago.
"I saw what happened today in the television, are you okay?" she asked worriedly, eyes scanning the very visible bandage on his head.
"Of course I'm fine!" he retorted back, his worries seemingly disappeared at the sight of his loving mother. Y/N was grateful that she took him in after no one stepped up, he would give her the moon if she asked for it.
She chuckled in amusement as she served the last plate, motioning the H/C to sit down with her to eat dinner as she asked about his day.
Peaceful moments like these were what Y/N would sacrifice anything for. After all, the life of inner peace, being harmonious and without stress, is the easiest type of existence.
That night, the house was filled with laughter and chattering, the smell of homemade dinner and peacefulness engulfed the air.
I didn't think my book would reach almost 300 views and 20 votes... Thank you. ^^
