I was a student once about three to four years ago, my parents where some of the top instructors of the school, father was a paladin and mother was a cleric funny enough. Ella was a fine warrior and a good friend of mine, but all help was lost.
I was framed by professor Zoran who was possessed by a Tzeench daemon a month and a half later. I was betrayed by the people I trusted and wanted to burn that school to the ground. This is my story.
Present day:
I look into the mirror I have in my room, looking at the reflection I no longer remember back in the mainlands. Older with a small beard remembering the times back then, sparing with friends, eating and having fun... all lost now. I grab my helm and exit my room. I live and run the castle of blessings, a place where everyone feels safe to praise any god they want.
I am a harbinger of chaos, one of the five lords of chaos in the forgotten lands. I am marked by all four chaos gods and earned a name for myself fighting the gloried warmaster of chaos Azeal. My castle has shrines to all four dark gods and even a holy place for those that were abandoned by the mainlands.
The library of Tzeench, changer of ways.
The arena of Khorne, duels of honor and blood.
The pleasure palace of slanesh, for all the sins and deeds
And the garden of nurgle, for the unwavering.
The holy temple is those who still believe in the mainland, usually looked down upon but respected due to the lord visiting there often.
The castle itself is very unique because this is a place where there is peace in the forgotten lands. My knights are elite riders who fend off warbands of invaders, my sorcerers keep the city safe with spells and daemons they control, archers with a keen eye. I got Ally's from all around the world in my city, which also means I'm a good target for the other four chaos lords.
Azeal gave me my castle to keep for myself, I challenged him after my exile when I was saving the untainted. I was able to strike him a few times but failed when he landed a critical blow on me. He let me live and apparently I'm one of the few who can challenge him.
For me, I am a forgotten man... I tried to give people the best chances of survival and this gives me the best chances for recruits and fine men and women to keep this city growing.
As I get the update from one of my squires a messenger walks in.
Messenger: "Lord stein, I have words from the azeal."
Stein: "go ahead."
Messenger: " Azeal wants you to accompany him with the meeting at the gatehouse of the mainlands champions college. What is your response?"
That damned place....
Stein: "why are we meeting at the gatehouse?"
Messenger: " apparently Azeal made a parlay with them to secure a treaty as separate nations. We are meeting them at the college to secure our agreement and wants you to go with them."
Stein: "fine, when?"
Messenger: "tomorrow, bring two knights to accompany you."
Stein: "Thank you."
As the messenger leaves, an old friend of mine walks to me. Elias, a sorcerer of Tzeench who was with me from the beginning of my exile.
Elias: "ah going to the college again?"
Stein: "Apparently, what do you need?"
Elias: "mind if I accompany you there? I'm no knight but I have my ways."
