KISS AND MAKEUP !

"stella?" vinnie called out as he walked through the door of her apartment. her place was mad
silent, the only thing that could
be heard at the moment was the
air conditioning that had just
turned off the second vinnie
walked in.

it was currently two in the morning and he knew stella would be
asleep. but a part of him knew
that she wasn't sleeping. it
seemed to a lot accepting the
fact that something had
happened tonight.

he knew she was waiting for him.

and he was correct.

without taking his shoes off,
he walked straight to stella's
bedroom door. her door wasn't
wide open for him, it was shut.
and at that moment, vinnie took
a deep breath and lightly knocked
on the door before letting
himself in.

he opened it, seeing stella's
small figure under the thick
blankets of her bed. clothes
were all over the floor, probably
from her indecisive choosing
of clothes for the party last
night.

vinnie didn't know, but he didn't
care. he walked up to the bed,
quickly and quietly, not wanting
to wake his girl up.

stella's head shot up, staring at
the shadow in front of her. and
her face fell.

the window in her room had a
bright light shown through it, from
the lit moon that night, and he
could clearly see the tear stains
on her cheeks. her dried up
mascara under her eyes and
on her soft, sad cheeks.

vinnie silently gasped.
how could he not be there for her?

"my love-"

"where were you?" stella's voice broke. she began to cry again.
just like she had been doing the previous hours. and vinnie could
feel his fucking heart break.

"i had a meeting and other
events to attend to. i told you
that."

"and you didn't want to answer
me? you didn't even bother to
look at your damn phone?" stella questioned as she sniffed, now
fully sitting up as she spoke to
the man standing in front of
her bed.
