As a busy day unfolded, an agent emerged from the containment chamber appearing visibly annoyed, due to getting a normal work result and experiencing Hod's meltdown.
"Damn it..." he muttered under his breath while scratching his head in frustration.
On his way to the Extraction department lobby to rest, he passed by a couple of clerks carrying paperwork. They seem to be in a hurry, but they still greeted the agent.
"Good day, Hunter"
"Good luck on the next one!"
Hunter, the Extraction Team Captain, paid them no mind and continued his way, unable to delay his rest until the Manager inevitably assigns him to a new task-
Suddenly, Hunter's PDA buzzed, alerting him to a message from Binah, his Sephirah. << Orders from the Manager, Hunter. The manager has requested you perform instinct work on O-03-93 >> the message read.
The Extraction department had just received a new abnormality and he's going to be the first one to check it out. With Hod having a meltdown, it'd be hard to get a good work result.
Exasperatedly, Hunter sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose, saying aloud, "Oh, come on"
Before he could turn around, someone collided with him. Both of them fell on the ground.
"C-Captain?! Sorry, I wasn't looking..." the agent that bumped into him said.
Hunter stared at the agent and noticed that she had wounds, some shallow and some deep, and bleeding all over.
"Asera, what happened?" Hunter asked.
"I don't know why, b-but my work with Nothing There got a bad result. The result was always good, but now..."
"Hod's handicaps is worse than I thought" Hunter muttered "Go to the lobby and get patch yourself up. Stay away from Nothing There and work for now"
"Of course, Captain!" Asera nodded frantically and went on her way.
Upon arrival at the destination, Hunter found themselves standing before a containment chamber, taking measured breaths to calm their nerves. Shortly after, another agent, sporting a pink suit and wielding a pink sniper rifle, approached them.
"Hello, Hunter," the agent greeted.
"What's up, Cooper? Are you here to suppress the entity if it breaches?" Hunter asked.
The agent named Cooper nodded in confirmation. "That, and I'm also here to shoot you with this if you lose control of yourself" he said as he showed Hunter his pink sniper rifle
Hunter chuckled nervously "Don't aim for my face," he said, trying to lighten the mood.
Cooper responded with a mischievous grin. "I can't make any promises." his gaze drifted towards Hunter's suit and weapon. "Anyhow, I'm kinda surprised the Manager made you equip Cobalt Scar. I thought you had an ALEPH suit"
"Yeah, I'm planning to ask the Manager about that after we meet quota" Hunter then held out a closed fist towards the pink agent "Don't hesitate to shoot me if I come out of there crazy"
The pink agent smiled and fist bumped with Hunter "That's what I'm here for, don't worry. Good luck in there"
Nodding, Hunter stepped into the containment chamber of the new abnormality.
Before him stood an abnormality unlike any he had seen before. A cluster of gray legs emerging from a glowing heart. The heart was bordered by a brilliant blue light that encircled a black abyss.
Hunter pulled out his clipboard and began jotting down notes.
This abnormality may appeal to those with a foot fetish, but it's not recommended for attachment work as things may get weird. Judging by the sudden headache, it probably deals white damage.
Hunter cleared his throat before speaking to the abnormality.
"Hey there. My name is Hunter, and I will be working with you" he said, but the thing remained unresponsive.
Despite that, Hunter continued "As part of my duties, may I offer to massage your legs, let you have some drink, or clean you?"
Once again, there was no reply.
Suddenly, Hunter felt an inexplicable urge to leap towards the anomaly, as if some external force had taken control of his actions.
'COME'
He was startled by a voice as he sat on the floor, and his eyes began to glow an eerie blue. Compelled to approach the anomaly, Hunter took a step.
And another.
And another.
Until he was close enough to leap. As he did so, he was subsequently drawn into its grasp and spaghettified, similar to the effects of a black hole.
'LET US MEET AGAIN AS STARS'

A fact for those who don't know anything Project Moon related:
Lobotomy Corporation is inspired by SCP, Cabin in the Woods, and ETC. It's a pretty good game for sinking in hours.
(A/N: Me personally, I finished the game, but I didn't get the true ending)
