-------------------------------------------------------------------

The streets of Atlas were as overwhelming as ever. Everywhere I looked, there was something new, and shiny. Giant holograms blinked at me from every corner, promising the latest in tech, fashion, and food that I couldn't even pronounce, let alone afford. Airships zoomed overhead like they had somewhere important to be, unlike me, who was aimlessly wandering the city trying to find something, anything, to do.

At the opposite side of the street, I saw a guy in a suit walking a tiny dog that looked like it had more hair products than I did. The dog gave me a look, as if it knew I was an outsider, and trotted off with its nose in the air.

Fancy dog, I bet it doesn't even know what mud is.

Just as I was about to continue my hunt for any activities to distract me with, my scroll, which was given to me by Roux after the short tour, rang.

It was Azalea calling, and so I answered.

"What's up? Is The City found yet?" I asked, hopeful.

<< No, there is someone that wants to meet you >> Azalea replied.

"Meet me? Who could possibly..." I stopped, as I list the people I currently knew in Atlas who would want to meet me. I realized that the list is extremely short. And by short, I meant it was just Azalea, Roux, and General Ironwood.

<< Jacques Schnee >>  Azalea said.

"Who?" Schnee... That sounds familiar

<< He's, in layman's terms, the CEO of a company that produces energy that the world uses. Well, most of it, considering that you said that there's no Dust in The City >>

Oh? Another energy company? L Corp isn't going to like the competition...

"The fact that he wants to meet you is... Unusual" There was a long pause on the other end of the call "Just be polite and speak formally"

"Got it. When am I going to meet with this Jacques guy?"

<< Right now, it seems. You better hurry. I've sent the location on where you'll meet on the GPS >>

...

Damn

<<--/// Meanwhile, Schnee Manor ///-->>

In the lavish office of the Schnee Manor, Jacques Schnee sat behind a grand desk, tapping his fingers impatiently. His expression was one of mild irritation, eyes flicking toward the clock on the wall.

"Why is Hunter late?" Jacques muttered under his breath, clearly displeased. He paused, then clicked his tongue. "Though I suppose I share the blame. Scheduling a meeting without prior notice..."

Before his annoyance could fester, the door creaked open. Klein, the Schnee family butler, stepped in, guiding Hunter into the room.

"Master Jacques, I've brought Hunter" Klein announced, bowing slightly.
