(i made this chapter so you guys can remember this is supposed to be a funny story 🥺)

"hello? hellooooo.. HEY! ughhhh" gc heard a whiny voice say quietly.. or maybe they weren't saying it quietly, maybe he just couldn't hear. wait.. why couldn't he hear?? suddenly, gc snapped out of his daze. he saw the same handsome man..his name was..eddie? wait.. eddie munson? as in corroded coffin eddie munson? gc had to find out, but not with jason by. looks like he wasn't there.. it was only eddie.. just gc and him. "what happened?" gc asked, confused and dizzy. "jason hit you with a basketball and ran out. i knew he wasn't any good for you" eddie replied, looking dreamily into his blue orbs. then gc snapped out of it. "youre in corroded coffin, right?" he asked. "how..how did you know that?" gc was startled by the answer, "oh, i just recognized your voice and name. i used to listen to it all the time back at east high." gc replied. "oh..yeah i completely forgot about that..brings back bad memories." eddie replied somberly. "well.." gc said, trying to change the subject "jason just left me??" "yep. i could tell that he wasn't the right one for you." eddie replied "what do you mean by that🤨" gc said, staring at eddie like that one picture of the rock. "UHHH nothing in particular!" eddie said, quietly giggling. "you look like you would be good at dnd. wanna try?" eddie asked gc. gc thought about it for a moment, thinking those league of legends and dnd players were just adult weirdos, but maybe he was wrong. besides, hawkins was a fresh start, a new change. but the more he thought about it.. the more he realized he didn't really wanna be associated with eddie, even if eddie was cool in gcs eyes. gc just wanted to be popular, even if he didn't have any real friends. "um..no thanks..i have to um..go..yeah. bye." gc replied awkwardly before running away

EDDIES POV
eddie was at his weekly dnd meet. the whole gang was there, mike, dustin, lucas, erica, gareth, jeff, and unnamed freak. "hey ed, you okay?" gareth asked, looking concerned. as eddie looked up, he saw everyone looking at him with a worried look on their face. eddie asked, "do you fellas know the new guy in the school?" everyone responded with some form of 'yes.' "alright.. i-i.. i think..i'm in love with him."
the room went silent.
"you're what now?" erica asked
...
"i..think i should leave." eddie said, embarassed.
"wait, come back!" mike yelled
"wtf is wrong with you guys?? he just told us something incredibly personal, that probably took a lot of courage! and you guys just..shooed him away??" mike screamed
everyone stopped and stared at him, thinking about their actions.
