I lay in my bed, completely bored. I just finished watching every single episode of The Walking Dead, my favourite TV show. Hey, at least I will know a few things on how to survive a zombie apocalypse. Well, if that does happen.

It's too cold to go outside, it's the middle middle of January in Canada. It's like -30 degrees outside right know.

I grab my iPhone 6 from my dresser and text my best friend, Carrie. Her and her family are in Hawaii right now, and I'm jealous.

Since I don't have my friend with me, and it's torture. At least I have a few more, but our friendships can't even compare to mine with Carrie's. We've know each other since we were two.

"Clarissa, get ready, we're leaving in twenty minutes." My fathers yells. Crap. Tonight my parents said they are taking us out for supper, which doesn't happen often. Probably like once every three months.

I quickly throw in some tight blue skinny jeans, and one of my favourite shirts that reads "everyone tells me to follow my dreams so I'm going back to bed." I also grab my blue baggy bunny hug. It's really warm and fuzzy, and even though it's like two sizes too big, it makes me look skinny. If that makes any sense at all.

I quickly brush through my waist-length strawberry-blonde hair. For my face I add a bit of eye liner and mascara to make my hazel eyes pop. Once I'm satisfied with my appearance I go to the living room.

I see my brother Jake sitting on the couch. Jake is 19, and he lives with us because he is going to University right know. I don't mind, Jake and I get along great. Jake is only one year older than me, and defiantly is a protective older brother. When he went to my high school guys were scared to talk to me because of my brother.

My brother can be very intimidating. He has brown hair and blue eyes, which he inherited from my dad. Jake works out, and you can tell. He is 6'2 so he can be scary. Except he can be a real softy when it comes to his family.

"Hey Jake." I say sitting next to him on our 'L' couch. "Nice shirt." Jake says. "Why thank you." I reply. Jake bought me this shirt for my birthday, a less than a year ago.

"Where are we going?" I ask Jake. "I don't know, but we are getting pizza." Jake responds.

All of a sudden Jake's phone goes off, indicating he has a text. When he reads it he immediately smiles. "Who texted you?" I ask. "None of your business." Jake snaps. "Wow. Someone's PMSing." I mumble. "I heard that." Jake says.

I bet he is texting a girl. He claims he is single, but his attitude states otherwise. One time I caught him and some blonde chick making out in our kitchen. It was absolutely disgusting and that image will never leave my mind. I shiver at the thought.

Finally my parents come downstairs. "Are you guys ready to go?" My mother asks. "Yeah. We've been ready for twenty minutes." I mumbled the last part. She takes forever to get ready. Luckily my mother didn't hear.

"We are taking the blue truck today." My father announces.

We own four trucks, two SUV's, one van, and three cars. One if them is my brothers though.

Quickly I throw my bunny hug on and put on my winter jacket.

Once I'm ready I walk to the truck. Well, more like skate. Its really slippery outside. It's only 5:15pm right know and I'm tired.

Being a teenager takes a lot if energy from you, especially your thumbs. One time my thumbs got so stiff from texting I couldn't move them for three days. I get in the vehicle and soon my family follows.

"Now I want you guys to treat each other nicely while we are out, don't make us regret this." My mother tells us. "Yeah, yeah. Got it." Jake replies.

When we get to the restaurant there's barely anyone. Probably from the cold weather. "Table for four people please." My father tells the waitress. "Follow me." She told us.

We sit down and get comfortable. "I'll be right back and take your drink orders." The waitress tells us as she hands us our menus.

"I'll be back, I just have to use the washroom." I tell my family. "Don't be to long." My mother narrows her eyes at me. "I won't."

I get up and leave, keeping my winter jacket at the table. I find my way to the washroom and go in. I look in the mirror. I fix my hair, it looks very messy. Once I freshen up and leave the bathroom.

As soon as I get out I feel hands wrap around my waist. Just as I'm about to scream I hand tightens on my mouth. "Shhh." I hear a masculine voice say. I try to get away. "Stop struggling Clarissa." The voice tells me. I don't listen. I try kicking the person, but it doesn't even impact them a slightest bit. Before I know it a cloth is put on my face. Everything goes blurry and I fall into unconsciousness.
