By the trees we shall meet

I was just trying to have a peaceful day away from the hellhole in which I call home, accompanied by my favorite tree, I know your thinking who has a favorite tree, well me I do it's my only sense of company

Until another person sat at My tree

"Uhm excuse me, you can't sit here" I spoke not in a harsh manner but not in a nice one either

"I'm sorry, I didn't know I couldn't sit where I wanted to in a public park" the person snarked

"Look this is my tree..you can't sit here" i spoke a little more calmly trying not to get to aggravated
I thought he was gonna leave until he started crying

"Oh uhm- I-I'm so sorry I-I shouldn't have been so rude" I said quickly

"N-no it's just that I just wa-wanted a little company and I saw y-you and you looked really nice a-and I thought may-maybe I could sit here just for a little and then I'll go" he said in between cries

"Yeah sure that's fine" I said with a soft smile
I felt really bad now that I was so rude inconsiderate

Well he didn't leave

After awhile of awkward silence I decided to speak up and start conversation as this might be my only chance of a friend or acquaintance at that

"What happened.." was what I said quietly but loud enough for him to hear

"Will you judge" he whispered

"Never" I replied looking at him as he fiddled with his small hands

"I was dumped, yelled at, called a slut, all in the same day and then told I couldn't sit here and I broke down I've had a terrible day and I'm sorry for sitting at your tree and uhm being rude about it I should've never-

"It's fine, I don't own the tree, it's not my place to tell you where and where you can't sit, I'm sorry" I said with a soft smile on my face

"It's fine, you didn't know" he said a slight smile tugging at his lips

"Do you wanna be friends..?" I asked with slight hesitation as the word friends has never left my mouth because I've never had friends

He smiled brightly "of course, I could use a friend!"

"Me too, I'm Choi Soobin, nice to meet you" I said putting my hand out

He put his hand out shaking mine "I'm Choi Yeonjun"

And that's how the day ended both of us having a new friend who we really needed
